I am a junior analyst at an extremely large holding company (500B in assets), although while finishing my M.S. I interned at Scottrade and Fidelity Investments and worked nights as a bartender/waitress in a strip club.

Don't forget to warm your pole, things like pole sits are way easier on a warm pole.  I start out with floorwork and spins and then climb and 'hug' mine to get it warm : )

I think I'll try the liquid grip then, it's a little more expensive per oz. but it gets great reviews and won't be as messy as chalk.  Thanks Chemgoddess

No prob, and if your not sure if you want to dance try cocktailing in a club, believe it or not the waitresses can make as much if not more than the dancers!

No, all types of girls work in clubs, evrybody has their type and there’s a lot of patrons who aren’t looking for a barbie, however, you may be put on day shift because of it, but if you work it and have a good personality that goes a long way. Go to a club in your area and talk to the dancers, they shouldn’t have a prob giving you the scoop on what its like in their club 🙂 p.s. corsets do wonders to hide belly fat.

You really only need to know what you're comfortable with, most dancers don't do any tricks at all.  How much you'll make depends, a lot of it is getting customers who come specifically for you, that's where the money is.  Tampa is the strip club capital of the US (45+clubs), and girls around here make from a couple hundred up to thousands a night, it just depends on who comes in and how many regulars you have that spend (I've seen a girl make $10k in one night off a sports agent).  Most of the money comes from private dances, very little from the stage.  Also, you have to pay the club a fee (no more than $40) and tip out your DJ and house mom, oh and if you're on day shift you'll be lucky to leave with $50 🙁  Good luck, keep us informed!!!

I went through a nasty re-occuring BV infection years back, the med's would clear it up (don't remember what it was but it ended in -zole and you couldn't drink alcohol when taking it)  but it kept coming back.  Both me and my man got tested and were clear so my doctor told me sometimes certain people's body chemistries (ph of the sperm/vagina I think) don't react well and can trigger an overgrowth of bacteria (i.e. BV).  We started using condoms and it completely went away.  Idk, just another perspective.  Oh, and my doctor told me to 'save the thongs for the weekend' lol. Hope you get it cleared up, any issues 'down there' can really freak you out, good luck.

I know Luvlee has been wearing wrist-band things on her wrists and says they've been helping…as for your neck you might want to see a doctor, probably don't want to mess with your neck : /

I'm dealing with a shoulder strain right now, originally damaged from a car accident 13 yrs. ago.  It's never been quite right since, it's fragile.  I ice and compress, take motrin to reduce the swelling, and don't do anything with it (except mild stretching).  It usually clears up in about two weeks. Good luck.

@Firstpastthepost-I have the same issue you do, extra skin.  You can't even see it when I'm standing but if I bend over or sit Indian-style and slouch forward I kinda look like Jabba the Hutt a little bit, it looks wierd when I do a plank or an inverted crucifix too, I guess extra skin is better than stretch marks, those were reserved for the sides of my butt lol.

It looks like you're not quite fully squaring your hips, your knee should be facing down, not to the side.   I've been doing Veena's stretches and she holds them for 15 seconds in 3 different phases of each stretch (mild stretch, medium, and full), so 45 sec's total for each one. At the end she has you do the splits and hold for as long as you're comfortable.  Hope that helps : / Other than the squaring issue they look good to me.

my ex played professional football and took creatine, NO2, and protein for years, I don't think the team doctors would have okayed it if it was dangerous…

I got two old bathroom mirrors (60x48in.) off of craigslist, one for free and the other was $30, home depot has a 48x48in. for $60, that's the cheapest I could find new 🙂
