Nevertheless I brought this to your attention? ๐Ÿ˜›

The only other thing I can think of is to approach an approved xpole seller and ask if they will ship to the US?

I found an approved retailer (confirmed by xpole) you could ask: http://candy-chrome.co.uk/product/x-pole-xpert-titanium-pole/

No, I don't think there is one near by sadly. ๐Ÿ™

I think I might ask around my pole school or just go for the TG pole. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks for the feedback on the pole and materials too ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you know if tg would be slippery in cold climates?

    Hi AerialGypsy,

yeah, we have 40mm in chrome, tg and brass in the UK now! I thought about powder coat but then I heard it is super grippy it takes skin off, so I was aiming for something in the middle that isn't too slick and isn't too sticky it takes my skin off lol!

I have thought about powdercoating my pole for a while though.  I won't get a pole until I sell this one so I still have time to wait! x

Looking at purchasing this pole: http://candy-chrome.co.uk/product/x-pole-xpert-titanium-pole/

It seems to be genuine as it's a pole school selling it – any thoughts?

Current pole is actually 45mm circumference 141mm >_< definitely going for a 40mm in this case!

@phoenix krazee – thank you so much for your reply and the tips!! It's such a pretty and impressive trick so I am determined to get it.

It seems like my 'sort of bendy' back is letting me down with the foot on pole version as I think the motion of arcing my back is causing the pole to pop loose from between my thighs!  However, trying the both feet off the pole, there is less pressure on my back and I am able to hold it for a milisecond or two ๐Ÿ˜€

I've never thought of trying it on the floor first but will certainly do that as it's less scary if you do slip! ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

Update: I tried scissoring from a superman (instead of going from a full superman) – I've managed to go as far as getting my neck on the pole but then no matter how hard I squeeze between my thighs, the pole still pops out from inbetween my thighs.

I feel the grip is a lot better when I don't go straight into a superman and beginning to wonder if it's my pole that's the problem and not my technique?

I've always had issues with leg grip on this pole, I can't scorpio or gemini on it without slipping.

@Charley, thanks for tip! What core exercises would you recommend? Is it just planks and excerise alike?

I was wondering about this earlier as I'm looking at the shouldermount plank move which takes ALOT of core strength to hold yourself and whole body horizontal! ๐Ÿ™‚

That sounds cool! i'm intrigued about this too…

I've got an issue that I've outgrown my classes, I've tried other classes but find the same issue of the advanced class being too simple.

I've yet to find a way to continue learning or any master/graduate classes and I'm not too keen on learning by myself as the more advanced moves yet, the more dangerous they are.  Hence, I would need a spotter but I don't have any pole friends I'm close to to jam together.

I'm curious about how people continue their learning?

    Thanks for the tips again.

I had another go using my left foot on the pole and can feel the burn inbetween my thighs (which I couldn't before) but still cannot hold it and lurched forward with thud onto the floor. >_<  I feel I'm getting closer to it though! Maybe need to tense my abs a bit more? Still have a slight slippage problem, maybe it's the pole as I've always been having issues with leg grip on my current pole. ๐Ÿ™

    Hi ladies,

Hmmm, that's interesting – I might try getting into the titanic from a side climb @ poledanceromance

รขโ‚ฌโ€นI tried following the instructions from the three YT vids posted but they don't work for me either.  I tried with my instructor and we are both baffled at how to keep the pole between the thighs and stop slipping and sliding down.  I tend to bounce off the pole as soon as I arc my back. Arghhh so frustrating – but I will try to get some vids posted of my progress!

I did give switching legs a go but didn't try too hard as I was tired after my lesson.  This weekend I will try putting my left foot against my pole instead of my stronger right foot and try to cross that over.

@zoeyxxxx – thanks for the tip! I will definitely try turning my knees towards the pole tonight.

    Watch this space! ๐Ÿ™‚
