They wont put up the clips until the next day.  I watched it in real time.  If the voice over couldnt stress enough that I am 250, it was a good piece they put together.

I havent gotten much hate like I did with the article in The Daily Mail, but lots of love back!!!  🙂

My ceiling is just like yours!  So I totally understand.  acutally I think we may have the same ceiling height too!  The PS adapter should help.  Also brass is an addtional $100/pole for PS.  Im looking forward to installing mine in my living room!

Im bumping this thread due to my last experience with extensions.  I bought mine from Sallys beauty supply.  For the set it was $100 and I had to dye them to match my hair.  If you have a beauty club card you can save a few bucks on them, plus they were on sale at $10 off so I saved about $15!  I bought extensions close to my natural hair color so when I dye them, they would produce the same reaction and match exactly to my hair.  After putting the dye on them I let them sit for about 30min, since its virgin hair the color will pick up faster than your own hair. I washed them out just like I would do with my own hair then let them air dry.  Then I combed them out (wide comb, I believe they make ones just for hair extensions).  Then they clip right in and they hold nicely.  I may have to get a second set since I have super thick hair and im not sure if they look right in.

I also reccomend getting a case for them.  I have one so my kids dont try to get them out and play with them!

That sounds really cool!  Ive never worked with green screen before – I went to school for TV Production so I love doing the production side of videos for myself!

Tues/Thurs are the only days I can make it for that class.  Ive been going to the same class time my husband is used to that schedule so he tries to get off work at a decent time so I can go.  I went last night and it was a full class, it wasnt as bad as its been a few times.  Most of the time classes are full, best times for less people is around 4p which I cant make b/c my husband isnt home yet to take care of the kids.  Fridays are our family nights and Saturday the studio is packed and the last class is at 3p.

I just hate being stuck in neutral for a pole move.  Its like 'what else can I do to improve and get to this move?'  I try to calm down and tell myself there isnt a race on who can master the moves the fastest.  But it just sucks when you keep trying and trying and you havent made much progress.  I finally got the CAR last year from multiple attempts.  Sometimes I think id learn better for a 6wk course where we learn the same moves and learn how to do them right, safely etc.  But I do like the drop in option based on how crazy my schedule can get.

Amy – its more like she demos a trick and she does it a few times at various speeds and tells us the key points in.  So I comprehend the move mentally.  Then she will come around and check everyone out and their progress.  There was one move I just couldnt whip my leg around to finish the spin and I told her I was having a hard time with it.  She had mentioned to modify it but I want to actually learn the move.  I dont want any 'hinderances' I may have get in the way. There was no suggestion from there.  I kinda felt hurt.  Here she was ive known her since I started taking class and her and I competed against each other in the first competition.

We do over privates but I just dont have the time or the budget to get in there.  The studio is a 30sec drive from my house and the nearest next location is over 30min away (which I knew some of you youd travel alot just to get to a class), and when youve got a full time life – its tough to make time for hobbies.  A good friend of mine manages one of the Pole Pressure locations and told me anytime im down for some help just to give her a call and we can team up, its really nice to have that. I havent taken her up on the offer since ive been really busy the past few weeks with other projects.

I havent really told her since I dont want to be that girl that complains shes not getting enough attention. By the time class is over (its the last class of the night), they are trying to clean the poles and trying to get out for the night.   Then I try to take in the fact when our class is full there are 18 other girls in class, so including me and the instructor there are 20 people in that room.  So its kinda hard to help everyone in the entire hour with the advance tricks.

This all depends on if we get a new babysitter for my son.  At the rate that she takes time off (4wks of vacation, 6 training days, lots of holidays etc), that if I wanted to go to PoleCon, I would have to lose a full day of pay  just to go.   Not Cool!https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Where do I even start???  This year has been amazing.

Tricks: Finally getting the CAR and getting over that point of no return feeling.  I still have to ease into it but that fear will disappear soon.

Competition: Yeah I havent won yet and im ok with it.  Ive gotten back on the pole horse and im gonna keep trying until I cant do it anymore. I was the most proud of my performances this year than before.

The Battle:  OMG what can I say.  I had 4 studios compete, a huge audience and was able to raise $1000 for PCOS Challenge.  Hard work does pay off!

Team Lulu: all the press that ive gotten recently, its crazy.  Im mostly proud of my sponsor – Platinum Stages for taking me under their wing.  Im incredibly thankful for what they have given me and I know theres nothing but great things in store for me in 2012

I love reading stories about that.  I actually got a message from a woman who has PCOS (which is what I have) and learning that I wont let it get in the way of my life shes been inspired to get up and do something about it.  I started tearing up reading her story since I knew exactly how she felt.

Those are the stories that keep me motivated, I feed off of the energy of others (and give some out to others when I need to).  The inspire me to keep going and dont give up when I feel like giving up!

Cynthia – Ebay.  When my daughter goes to my FIL's to stay over, they will go on ebay and bid on MLP toys.  Warning though, thier hair is kinda gross if its not taken care of well.  I had to throw away one pony b/c her hair was disgusting!

First off I love that song, I love that version more than the NIN one.

I hand make all my costumes.  Its really hard to find anything in my size so I just make it instead.  One of my costumes, I bought a bra and panties and covered them in teal duck tape.  Then im adding some sequins on the bra straps and wrap some tulle around the waist.  Ive gotten very creative over the years with my costume design.  I also try to recycle my old costumes so im not dropping serious cash on every competition I go to.
