I did the survey, forgot to mention that I like 42 mm poles:) I am really curious about what the stage will be like!

Shouldn’t your teacher start with a spin and than make it more difficult when it is (almost) perfect?
I think it took me a couple of weeks as well before I could spin without getting stuck.

We have two classes, one that’s doing basic one and our group, which is doing basic 2 – 4.
They try to make sure that the best of the basic one groep transfer to our group and then there is a spot in the basic one group for someone new to start.
Yesterday we had a mix of levels though because there was someone who only had a few lessons. It wasn’t a problem for us, when we worked on the harder moves she could do an easier version or a totally different move. I think it might be frustrating for her because she had to do other things but it might also be inspiring to see what you’re able to do after just a few months!

Do you guys know some more places where they are sold secondhand? It’s pretty hard to find for me.. (maybe because I don’t really know where to search as I’m from Holland)

I must say.. I think alcohol and sports just can’t be combined in any situation.
If you are working out, you just don’t drink.
Where I live there are a few dance clubs who have a pole and in holidays when our gym is closed my friend and I go ‘practice’ there. But when we do we don’t drink alcohol.. I just think that isn’t safe..

I also started from scratch:) never danced (unless when going out) and never did gymnastics..
Guess that’s a little harder to start with but I can really notice I’m improving every week! That’s what I love about polefitness, you can start with no experience at all and become better so soon!

Do you also ship it? I’m not in the UK.. But maybe you can sell it on websites that have ads in your region? (we have some websites like that in Holland, I don’t know if you have them as well..)

Where I pole we all started at a level called ‘basic 1’. I started in the first group so we are now doing basic 2, 3 and 4 (to have some variety). If a new person starts they will start in the ‘basic 1’ group and then go to our group if it is to easy for them.
We only have two groups but we are trying to get more time in the gym so we can have more groups and adjust the levels to the groups.
