I have to do this too. I’m oit of pole due to a shoulder injury, and my hamstring is not famous either, but I think I can restart. I lost my strenght and flexibility and motivation too 🙁

Here in Portugal mother’s day was last sunday, it’s always the first sunday of may, and I got a present from my girls. Now I got myself a present! 😋

49 here! On and off the pole for 5 years (injuries!) Loving it!!! I’m the oldest in my class, but still the only one in class that doesn’t need help to pull yourself on the pole (only arms). Yay me!

Welcome to SV! I'm 48 and I've been in and out of pole lessons for 3 yr. I don't have the stamina of a woman in their 20's or 30', but I'm having FUN!! My daughters even say "Wow mom, you are strong! I can't do that!" when I'm climbing the pole or doing an invert. Yeah, age don't matter at all 🙂

What I really wanted to say is that I changed physically and emotionally. The physical part was up to me, for sure, and with all the injuries, but emotionally… I must say you all had a great deal in it. I mean, the first time I bought Veena's lessons was only to look at her videos (sorry Venna, but I must confess, you're one of my pole crushes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif ). Now, I'm going to buy them again, as soon I can afford them, and I'll be doing them on my pole !
