When I first started pole dancing I wasn’t flexible and I exercised all the time. I started doing yoga and it is amazing how fast you can become flexible with yoga. I would give it a try. It has helped me in some may ways:) Best of luck!

I wouldn’t call it a midlife crisis. Call it a rebirth:) I am now 43 and I have been poling for 8 months and I exercise 5 days a week. I feel really good and It has helped me with my strength and my core. I do extra core exercises but poling has helped a lot. I love it and have two poles. Enjoy it! Enjoy the thrill of learning new moves. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

I am so excited to have purchased this 45 mm pole. I am very anxious to receive it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif Mine is a 50 mm Chrome and in some moves I feel the pole is to big for my hands. I am hoping to eventually have both poles up so I can switch off.

I got implants in 96. I was thin, small and exercised a lot. The doctor told me it would be best if I got mine above the muscle. Well that was fine until now. It is very painful when I get a mammogram. They have to pull the breast tissue away from the implant to get a good pic. I hate it and I say that I am going to get another implant before the next mammo. The only thing is, I was also told that if you work out a lot in the chest that if the implant is under the muscle that when the muscle builds it can push the implant to the sides of the chest wall. I am not ready to give up exercise or poling for 6 weeks, but I am not looking forward to my next mammo. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_surprised.gif

I am so happy someone has posted something about wigs. I love my short hair and when I started pole classes they would show us a move and tell us to use our hair in a move. Well that didn’t work well so I thought I would grow my hair out, didn’t work, So I got my short hair back and bought a few wigs. I have two long wigs and a bob wig. I like them but the bangs are way to long and I am thinking I am going to cut them so you can actually see my face. They do have straps on the inside like bra straps to adjust the tightness. I have done inverts and some good spins without any problems. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

MemberFebruary 8, 2010 at 7:14 pm in reply to: I got my mom to sit through some pole videos!Well you see, I am the mom and I am having trouble with the thought of telling my grown children I love to pole dance and I have a pole in my kitchen. I think my son would understand the fitness part of it but my daughter/drama queen would just see the so called dirty side of it. I would so love to share it with them but I just don’t think I will ever have the perfect time to tell them. There are still so many people out there that see it as a dirty thing and I wish we all could prove to them it doesn’t h https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif ave to be

I got this from the web for you.
If you need to treat your eczema skin symptoms, you can consider using the Aloe Vera plant for help. Eczema skin symptoms are typically dry, red, itchy and inflammed. Perhaps you have tried the conventional medication such as moisturisers and steroid creams, but you have found results unsatisfactory. If you or your child have not gotten much relief, try treating your eczema skin symptoms with Aloe Vera. You can consume Aloe Vera as a nutritional health drink, or you can apply it topically. As far as possible, you should use Aloe fresh from the plant, but remember it oxidises quickly upon exposure to air. If you get a mature plant, cut a leaf, slice it lengthwise, and apply the gel directly. Otherwise, cut the gel into pieces and cook it with rock sugar for a drink. If you cannot get Aloe fresh but only as a product, then be sure to get one that is as close to the natural plant as possible. After all, it is in your best interest to use quality ingredients to apply for relief of your eczema skin symptoms.
If you apply Aloe topically, the fluids in Aloe Vera form a thin film on the surface of your skin. These gum resins have hydrating thus moisturising, as well as antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Aloe Vera has the ability to penetrate to the inner layers of the skin, supplying moisture directly to the underlying tissue.

I don’t have Eczema but I have Arthritis and in doing research I found that Aloe Vera is a natural anti inflammatory and it has been known to help Eczema. I actually bought the pills and taken them and it helped but there is a gel that I got from Holland and Barret’s and my husband uses it everyday on his head. Mind you he shaves his head every couple of days and it is something that moisturizes but is not greasy. Might be something you can try since it isn’t greasy. Best of luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
