I put a little on my pole when I want to practice spin mode or a new move. I always wish I had a smaller container to put in my purse for street poling!!!!

I agree that the shoulders are actually a big problem for most and they think it is their back. I am working on my shoulders. They will come around eventually on their own time. I am ever so slowly working on my back, but it has to be SLOW for me with that pinched nerve. If it is something you want, work on it slowly. If not, work on what makes you happy!

My back is just bad. It prevents me from doing quite a bit. I have a pinched nerve so it hurts to even begin a cobra. I feel your pain. I do.

Wowy! She does this so fast no matter how many times I see it I can not tell how she is gripping in that drop on the way down. :/

There are so many things I would like for Christmas but alas, we are not doing Christmas gifts at all this year. We are saving for a house. You would not even believe the cash we blow for Christmas. It will be a nice relaxing change. I live the season for what it is. I mean we all like gifts but it gets crazy too and there is always next year that will creep up on us again. I hope you ladies get all your wishes!!!

This is just my personal view of all this. If he could tell you to fuck off and flip you off, I am thinking there is a lack of respect and maybe the engagement party should be rescheduled??? These things usually do not just happen once. I would take this as a sign and just slow down maybe. Just the fact that he did that would make me really think about where you are now. You are not married. You are not trapped…. yet. Not that it can not be worked out, but I would put things on hold. Just me though.

If you can not get a pole, can you get stretching DVDs and work on that while you save? I am sorry they do not get it and do not support it. Keep saving though on your own. 20 here. 20 there. Eventually you will get one. Watch on here for good deals too! People sell them all the time at half the cost.

I am overwhelmed by the responses I am getting here and I have to say thank you for ALL of them. It is good to know I am not alone in this feeling sometimes. I think the problem I am having was motivation. I have the time to stretch and pole. But after the medical stuff I would rather sit and feel sorry for myself BUT I decided yesterday to set goals. I have set some short term AND long term. The scorpion is long term for me. I know that it may take over a year. That is ok. I Did this pose on top of a human triangle in high school so I think Iay be able to do it again but it will take mass time. These things won’t come out I thin air and that is why I set goals. I wrote practice days on the calendar too. I like the scrap book of pole moves I want. I have a iPhone but am still a paper list person. Lol! Thank you again for all these ideas and responses.

Right now, I can onlt practice for half an hour. I get so tired, weak, and sweaty. I use to go for an hour, so I expect I will be able to again soon. I keep saying I will set up Skype and really need to. I just sit in chat while I practice on here alone. LOL!!!!

It is so stiff and u have a pinched nerve so any time u try to stretch it hurts for weeks. I will never do pretty back bend stuff. I just concentrate on what I can and let my back go at it’s own pace. My husband can Dove stretch further down than I can. It is embarrassing sometimes.

If you are ashy, that is the problem. Not everyone can pole without lotion. I use it every day. I am so dry and ashy. That will cause you to slip. You need to be warm and moisturized. I use in medium now and have no more problems. It is not for your hands, but body. It is more of a moisture for your body than a grip aid. It is for pole though. I love it. It comes in 3 formulas light, medium, and heavy. I use medium all seasons. I have not had a problem since using this. Put it on rub in wash hands and wait a minute and pole!!! badkittyexoticwear sells it. Good luck!!!

Awe! Thanks, Love. I am working on self esteem also. The thing is, I cn not quit or I will never see progress in myself. It is to easy to be hard on ourselves. I got my stretching session in! I will be posting pics and video soon of starting progress.

See, you and SV have kids and have gone through pregnancy down time and are still bad ass in my book. You two rock it out hard and I want at least half that talent. It is motivation for me. I am my worst enemy, and I am hoping to change that starting today. We will see. This s not a new goal. LOL!!!! But seriously you guys rock.

I am doing it for a work out AND I do have goals I just want. It would make ME so happy if I could watch one of my videos and actually like it. Does that make sense? I want to do a flexy scorpion pose. It opens a world of new moves up for pole too. I would have to stretch at least every other day to accomplish this. I want more strength so I can fly and it looks effortless like Shellectra comes to my mind. I have been so off and on and that stuff doesn't happen from having down days. Now things are going to come up. LIFE. Like SV said. It has happened to me. It has happened to all of us, but I could pole and stretch more than I do. I use to be happy after dancng and want to do it more. It was easy for me. Now, it has gotten harder and I leave my sessions almost in tears sometimes. I get frustrated and why would I want to do it again? LOL!!!! I am starting today with writing sessions on my calendar, setetching in the mornings, and dance or pole later at night. I am hoping to do at least 3 times a week at least. I see myself gsining weight and this is new for me also. I turn 32 this coming March and it is all catching up w me. I need to get on it NOW while I still can. LOL!!! So, I have some goals and some solutions. I have to say that the chat room is the biggest motivator and I think it is under used!!! I get on there all the time and practice and no one is there. LOL! I just go with it.

I am embarassed to even try this, but I must. I hate to say I am one sided. I am. At a Pantera workshop the other day, she asked us to try on out other side and I nearly fell. It just would not click. I do not know why I am so one sided. It is almost like it is impossible on my other side. I call it my wrong side even!!! LOL! This IS A CHALLENGE!!!!!! It will not be pretty.
