Hi I’m Lisa,
I’m 54 years old and live in New Zealand.
I’ve been poling since 2014 ad instruct. I love spin pole (and teach that) but static has a hold on me as well, that’s why I love this site, I can get tutorials for both! Currently about to start training again as I’ve had time off for a shoulder injury (not pole related) so will be aiming for my intermediate certification soon.
I also suffer fro Psoratic Arthritis so ctoan be out for weeks when I have a flare, whichakes my pole progression slow.
I’ve just walked my first half marathon and am hoping to do a full one next year 😊

I’m so happy this is going ahead. Once I get clearance to pole again I will get started. I’m sure a lot of my early injuries were been because I had no idea what I was doing was too hard for me so a level by level guide will be great. Thank you 💖

That’s great news

I have to say great idea, and digital cert would be easier especially with postage costs and delays.

Video’s are good. I’m still unable to exercise after surgery but love watching other people’s videos

MemberSeptember 1, 2021 at 6:25 am in reply to: Pole dancing and Christianity – can they relate?I was raised in a very strict Catholic family and my father was my biggest supporter, he related it to the gymnastics and dance I did when younger.
Some members of my family gave me a hard time when I started and his response was simply “if you think it’s inappropriate you need to re assess your thoughts and feelings not hers!”
I must admit to being delighted the first time he said it, and often use it myself now.
Good luck on your journey -
I need this in my life 🙂
