For those who have purchased a Studio Veena pole, I was wondering what the grand total came out to? Is the tax already included or is it added on top of the 275 for the pole and 45 for shipping?

No my knees don't touch the ground. What I did find though was that I can really feel the pressure when my heels are, well, basically pushed up against my crotch. When I pulled my feet forward and away it took the pressure off a bit. I rocked my pelvis a little bit and it definitely helped. I think you are right about it being the structure of the pelvis.

It only happens when I do a butterfly stretch, with my feet together, knees bent and leaning forward. All my other leg stretches are just fine though so I can't figure out why it is just this one stretch that makes my hip feel that way.

I've had one or two. One was kind of funny. I took my first spin on the pole and somehow got stuck and couldn't stop spinning without stubbing my foot. lol

Thank you PowerTwirl! I REALLY want a pole. I don't own one yet and can't afford the whole $300 but I can afford the $120 + $40 (im guessing) in shipping. If you want to get in better contact with me, my email is kelly_mccool@live.com I'm not so concerned about the nonstick pad which can be easily replaced, just so long as the pole itself and all of it's pieces are in tact and in good condition.

Hi there. I may be interested in buying your pole. How great of a condition is it in? Are there any scratches or wear or tear on it? Do you have all the pieces and the instruction sheets? I'm also willing to pay shipping fees.

Good for you guys who are quitting or have quit. I quit after only after year and a half of smoking. I quit cold turkey. I smoked just because I was bored and it was enjoyable to do with friends but when I moved back into my mothers non-smoking house I just stopped. Once in a while I got a craving and would busy myself with another activity.

Pole dancing is… It's incredible! It's challenging, inventive, creative and so much more! I've watched so many videos, been studying it like a college course and have just fallen in love with everything that it is about. I have never felt more sexy and confident.

  • Well, I don't think they did pole dancing much justice with their routine, however they did keep it modest which I am sure the judges appreciated. I enjoyed it but I wouldn't exactly make it the poster dance for poling. Just my opinion.

How disappointing. I can't imagine how the people of those youtube videos feel knowing that their personal vids were being used to make this woman money. I'd be furious. I haven't checked into other at home pole lessons but now I will look out for the scammies. Hell NO am I paying good money for crap!

Yup to all of the above. I've only been at it for about 2weeks though so I am wondering if I strained it or maybe the change from no acticity to this has caused something to become irritated or inflammed.

Yes it was during the middle splits. But I feel it in the other stretches as well. I've taken some medication and don't feel it so much while I'm in rest. I've tried rotating my hips and the pain felt worse on the joint.

I haven't started poling yet, but the exercises I have been doing to get my self ready for the pole have been doing me some good apparently. Hubby and I were cuddling last night and I caught his leg between my upper thighs and gave them a nice squeeze. He says, "Can you unwrap your legs please" "Why hunny?" "Cause you're cutting off circulation!" His leg was tingling and he had to wiggle hard to get out of my grip. I smiled on the outside but on the inside I was like "YESSSS!"

Yes I've heard all kinds of bad reviews about the peekaboo and the carmen electra. (Yikes!) So far the XPole seems like the most popular and the one I'm leaning most towards. Do the powder coated or chrome have any significant differences?
