Yes my thoughts exactly. As far as planning goes had a polejam at my house this past weekend with myself and *skittles* (along with some other folks) and we had a ball. Cant wait until we do it again. My apt is big enough for at least 3 to 4 poles to be put up too so the sky is the limit. I also stay downtown atlanta so thats probably an easier halfway point to meet up. I’m willing to travel to come jam too but I just like to know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly.

so…im lookin forward to the next jam. My weekends are mainly free so hopefully we can get another one planned this month or maybe next. I really want to have a regular get together for the atlanta memebers if we can….so we can put a face with a name. Hope to meet you ladies soon. I must agree that i do come up with the most creative thoughts and ideas when i am delirious as well…so i know where your coming from Sissy…lol. I had an idea…what if they were called something along the lines of SVA (studio veena award) or a Veena Ball (which is another word to encompass an event as such with all kind of different categories as stated above as well as best improved, best creative outfit/spin variation…etc).

Honestly since I read the post before my last response from Robin in regards to it being 2 polejams, I decided that I would not attend due to the fact that the comment made was not was asked nor called for at all. This all could have been avoided if I would have recieved the information I asked of you(in the beginning) in regards to the confirmation about the prices (which was for us all because we didnt know what the price was and I’d hate for a memeber to get to the door and not expect to pay 15-20bucks and be upset). So instead of you confirming the info, you took it to the left field. So thats why I reacted as such. I’m not nice all the time(but im honest) and when I see something off I will speak my mind and be as respectful as I need to be. Also I will point out the fact that the pole drawing you planned is great https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif …but give us that opportunity to let u know if thats what WE want to do instead of U assuming so BEFORE u get confirmation. Some people may not have wanted to pole…but just to come meet/greet ya know(is that $15 too?) Okay let me go ahead and clarify since there is some confusion. No there is not 2 polejams there is only 1 and its at polewaxers university where you planned it allllll out. The confusion came about and there was a slight communication breakdown between you and skittles. I offered to jam at my house since its spacious and not a lot of furniture is in there and it was $0.00 for me any anybody else besides maybe snacks if need be https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif. As far as I know, polejams are usually free and its mainly just SV members who are in the area get together and jam. So being that we just finished the holidays im sure people are trying to make their money last. So honestly you will be making at least $100 off of the members not us and if we wanted to drink thats extra too(unless we are able to BYOB…i doubt that). I assumed that when jams were at private studios that it was mainly used as an advertisement strategy….to let others who arent members to try it out and see if they would be interested in purchasing classes at a later date. When skittles was trying to get some clarification with you over the phone about the event, you automatically assumed she wasnt coming and cut her off. So again….there is only 1 pole jam on jan 2 and thats at your establishment. Going forward I will make sure this doesnt happen again when planning future polejams. oh yea i just got off the phone with my teacher/friend off SV and she was telling me how to help with my grip on the pole with my thighs and stuff. Some members say they use grip aides but others have other things they use like shaving gel. I have yet to try any of these things but I am having the same issue with not being able to do no hands. it takes time though i know and as you get stronger and your body gets more used to it you will be able to do it. wow..when i was watchin ur vid i was like ::omg that is exactly what my body does…..sllliiiiiiideeeeeee down:: i feel ur pain….TRUST https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_blackeye.gif STAY POSITIVE CHICA…U CAN DO IT

as far as pole waxers, we need to clarify with the owner how much ea. person needs to pay at the door. I dont think its $10, the way I read it was that the GNO is $15 and if we want to attend both the GNO and the SV polejam afterward it would be $20 for the 2classes. hopefully we can get confirmation soon. nonetheless im excited to see how it will turn out ;p

yes i agree we should all try to have a jam meetup at least once a month if we can. I know there are others who want to attend but cant make it this weekend and whatnot. Let me know what you all think. I have a lot of open space in my apt so i can do an unofficial one if need be.

do yourself a favor and go ahead and order the unlocking tools off the xpole website. they arent that expensive at all, not sure if you are in the states or not but here its really total cost of $30. thats really good compared to the hassle and pains you go thru trying to unlock the poles eachtime. as far as the order I was taught by my teacher, you unlock the pole starting from the bottom going up. i’m not sure if you do or not but when you assemble the pole and then the video tells you to tighten the poles after you finished screwing the top dome on…..i wouldnt do that. the pole is going to be tight anyway the more you spin on it so that extra tightening will only make it harder for you to unscrew after the fact. hope some of that helped…sorry i was rambling hahahahaha
