I listened to two of the three, cuz I wasn't sure if I'd heard them before….interesting choice of songs….who thought of the idea initially? Very cool, i like…:) Anyhow, I like the Lykke Li one the best, and feel I can produce something unique with this one. Probably won't get 'er done in January though, but I'm definitely IN for this challenge!

I have had a f-d up summer, and haven't pumped out a lot of vids. I am so gonna do this one again. I did it last year, and posted it on YT, and the funny thing was I had the most hits on it out of all my vids. Last year's wasn't even good, (cuz I didn't know how to do anything "booty"), but I've been watching some tutorials (especially FiyaStarta and Stainless), so this year's should be much better! Look out ladies! Serious booty shakin' happenin' up in here! LOL! 😉

Thank you to everyone who helped me figure out new moves! You guys were awesome, and it was so nice to meet you all. Special thank you to Elizabeth, for hosting the event, for the beautiful pole performance, and teaching us the "how to" on the Super Man and the Twisted Grip! I am so excited that I was able to take that home with me to practice. Hopefully, by the time we meet again next, I’ll be able to do both with ease! See you all in July!

Unfortunately, I don’t think any of my girls are going to be able to make it out for this one and I’m going to be performing that day, our last show of 16! Elisabeth is wonderful though and will be able to help you with any tips that you need.
We’re set to open the new studio on June 18!
I’ll see you all at the next pole jam or at Karol’s workshops!

Hi All,
Just letting you know that Kirsten and Eric from Brantford won’t be able to make it to this one. Eric has a recital in Simcoe, and Kirsten has a family engagement. Cathy and I will be there though. Is it okay if we add some people from our studio? Also, I was wondering if anyone could work with me on the twisted grip handspring thingy? I just can’t get it, and I know I’m strong enough to do it. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong! Some pointers while I’m at the jam would be fantastic. Help? Anyone? Please? LOL! -

Bad news ladies: Eryx Studio’s Year End recital is on May 16th. The Pole and Burlesque was supposed to be on the 15th, but they moved Burlesque to the 16th. That’s Kirsten’s baby, so she will definitely not be there. I’m in that number as well, so I’m out. Eric has to run the whole thing, so he won’t be there…..WAAAAAHHHHHH! I’m so bummed. I really wanted to go. We will have to try to make it for next month. Sorry!

I’m going to see about staying at my Aunt’s place…so no hotel expense, just gas and food. I’m so looking forward to this. I hope I can make it. It all depends on work though….I’ll let Poleophile know too. She’ll probably come!

I really want to go. I talked to Kirsten and she’s in too. How much are the workshops? Do you pay per workshop, or is there a package deal for the whole weekend?

S, what you did was amazing! The outfit fit you perfectly. You’d never know they were a bra and panties set! And the detailing? INGENIOUS! What I’ve done recently was, pretty much same as you, take a black strapless bra, which can convert into a halter, and sew these funky gold sequined, black lace strips onto them. The look was a belly dancing top, and trimmed the same onto a black skort. It looked HOT! (I hear you on the strappless bra thing. I have yet to find one to hold the girls up!) I’ve also taken an spandex runner’s top (full sleeves, capped neckline), and cut and ripped with scissors, made it a-symmetrical (cut one sleeve off), and made this cool futuristic top, or goth look, or whatever you want to call it. I’ll take some pics this week and post them, so you can see.
