I try to touch my pole five days a week. Whether it is 15-20 minutes of pole ups/arm lifts, some climbs, or a little dancy dance. I do a little bit of muscle toning and stretching as well as hula hoop a few times a week I would like to put in more pole and body work, but there are not enough hours in my day or energy in my body for that. If I can get one solid hour practice in a week I’m a happy camper.

I did that video this morning as part of my wake up workout and I admit parts of it had me huffing and puffing but afterwards my hips and lower back felt great! I am always really stiff in the mornings and it helped a lot.

Dirty girl poletice is amazing! Also excessive sweat can be a vitamin deficiency.

  • Is your pole on carpet or hard flooring? when I first saw this months ago I was like”push that looks easy with a little glam!” Yeah not really the case. When I only had a pole on carpet my feet kept getting tripped up and I couldn’t do complete rolls. I had to break it down to a count and very slowly do each positioning count by count before I was able to fully combine it. And it worked so much better on my stage pole.

That’s awesome… I love the animals, because mine always take pole as an invitation to play.

I’ve been to both types. A studio that at private events allowed it and didn’t care of age (it is an 18 and up studio, but legal drinking age in the state is 21) and a studio that it was a no go. We held a bachelorette party and in our contract stated that we could not consume alcohol before or during studio time. There really is to much liability on the owner and instructors.

  • I have been wanting these to be available in the USA!

@shoogstandley there’s nothing silly about vacuuming in heels! Lol I do it all the time, it gives a little added workout to the boring things in life… And embarrasses the crap out of my kids.

Houston is hot… And humid… And did I mention hot and humid? Actually I love Texas and miss it greatly. There is the aquarium, but Austin is amazing! It a bit of a jaunt but sooo worth it. So much art, culture, music and food. And the bats might give you goosebumps but are really cool to watch.
