MemberNovember 27, 2013 at 10:08 am in reply to: The pole dancing shop – Xpole Xstage liteThanks for your responses. Chem, I’m not buying from xpole because they have been sold out for a while and don’t seem to be re-stocking.
Just to clarify, I’ve had very bad experiences with everythingpoledancing which I won’t go into here. That’s not linked to the pole dancing shop is it?
I really want to treat myself in time for christmas 🙂

Is that the pole circus in Manchester? I got an email to sy they are back on

I agree that it's a British thing but do it anyway because doing things that makes you happy attracts better people in your life!

This is such a good idea, i'm quite shy so will have to build up a lot of courage but it will be really nice to get to know everyone a bit more. Everyone on here is so nice and supportive anyway, i'm looking forward to it.

My alethea DVD are collecting dust which is a shame. I tend to use YouTube more than anything these days. Waiting for a good month with money so I can subscribe to Veena's lessons again!!

I'd love it if you could make me something to suit my size. I am after a pretty black top that will cover my 30G UK size chest and I don't want any cleavage showing. If you could do that I would be so happy 🙂

I get really bad night sweats too and dont know if it is to do with my period or not cos I get mine at random times of the month. It’s awful, even my knees are soaking. Glad its not just me, my fiance says I’m too hot to cuddle at night too.

Thanks for the help, someone else has been putting it up for me and think they were worried it would fall down if it wasn't on tight enough. My own fault for being lazy and not doing it myself.

I have the X pole sport. I'm so gutted!

Try doing some lunges in your warm up. Also when you are dancing round the pole you could slide down it with your back to the pole and then push yourself up again just using your legs.

Anyone received the DVD yet?

Hi Nikita. I live in Manchester too. I have bought some of my pole clothes from the cyber shop in athleks palace, and the rest I get online. Welcome, always good to meet another northerner :p

This is an old post, I never notice till half way through readin lol!
In my opinion, songs are written based on personal experience and it after reading the song lyrics I feel its just telling a story…not actually portraying all pole dancers to be strippers. -
I do a cardio warm up before I pole, go running occaisionally and walk an hour a day to and from work. I have quit the gym recently because I was spending all my time on the pole so didn’t seem worth keeping it.

I can't seem to get the shoulder mount either, I don't think my core strength is there yet!
-
I get wrist soreness too, they will get stronger in time but as mentioned above, you should do wrist exercises before your work out. Also, don't overdo a work out as it could put you out of practice for a while. I'm going to get a wrist support this weekend, seems to be my left one that suffers the most!

This is such a good idea!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the exact same problem, now I make sure the heat is switched on in my pole room and do a bit of cardio and stretches in a sweat suit to heat my body up. Good luck :p

I thought it was a beautiful performance. My boyfriend would be exactly the same though, they just need a bit of time to come round to the idea that this is art and not "stripperish"
All you can do is continue with your love of pole and he will eventually understand this is what you love and not what you do for mens attention!!!

Is that the one on Deansgate?

Wow that looks amazing! Thanks!
