If you can, try to just keep the shimmery colors on your brow bone to highlight it but away from your eyelid/undereye circles as it does tend to accentuate them. I will get up the natural smokey eye tutorial asap!

I am going to try to do a tutorial for this today after I get home from work, you can totally do smoky eyes but you have to choose colors you feel doesn’t accentuate your undereye circles…which most likely means probably not black and using plums or browns instead to do more of a natural smoky eye. Also using any shimmery eyeshadows tends to accentuate circles/lines/everything else we want to hide so that could make you more self conscious of the undereye circles. Color placement is key too, I sometimes just keep the darker colors on the outer corners of my eyelids which makes it still look smoky but you don’t use nearly as much dark eyeshadow. I’ll get one up today after work, I already have it filmed I just need to edit it.

Yes I would try both if they’re meant to be layered, or you could try that Benefit product mentioned above, I haven’t used that specific product but I have a concealer from Benefit that I really like. They also make really good eye de-puffing products if you have puffiness also, one of them works almost instantly, it’s amazing!

Hi hi! I really just need to give it to a good home so if you cover the shipping you can just have it, if I haven’t worn it in all this time I don’t think I ever will https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Let me know if you want me to send you a photo!

Yes Smashbox has those gift sets semi-frequently and they are a GREAT deal. Each product individually would run well over $100 total and they come with a lot of the products in the gift set that are full sized which I really like, most other brands do smaller size products in their gift sets. Their photo op undereye primer is really good too, it’s not a concealer exactly but it will brighten up your eye area. I should have suggested that in the thread about your under eye circles but I forgot about it existing until just now. Sephora was giving out little sample tubes of it at one point when I worked there but I don’t know if they regularly carry the sample size or it was just a promo thingy…

Yes Amy is right, concealer is thicker than eye primer, however I have a MAC creamy nude colored eyeshadow primer that could possibly work as a concealer but it is thinner and wouldn’t cover quite as well. I’ve never tried to use it for that but I do feel that it’s kind of hard to use products for a dual purpose like that because they were designed to do one or the other unless they’re made to do both. But I feel like a concealer and eyeshadow primer in one would be a good idea. You’re better off using two separate products, do you put your concealer on first? I actually do my foundation first and then concealer because foundation gives you some coverage and you won’t have to use as much concealer which helps it not crease since it’s not piled on. Hope this helps a little bit

Hmm now I’m confused, damn moves having all different names! I am doing a pretzel here then since the pole isn’t all the way across my back…but I would think you would be able to walk into both the ballerina and the pretzel spin position from the floor? Anyway I thought I didn’t have a video of it but I do!!! http://www.youtube.com/user/glitterhips#p/u/3/nmc4uuq2OPI It’s around 1:10. Assuming you can get into the pretzel and ballerina the same way that’s how I do it, I think I am doing a pretzel though. My bad! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif

I do it in a cheaty way since I have a hard time getting into it from a sit and i can’t do a reverse grab so I just have to walk into it from the floor but it has been helpful to get me used to where all my POC with the pole should be, maybe today I will try it from up the pole, it does look very pretty on spinny and I don’t usually see it in too many performances…

I don’t know if this fits into that specific style since it’s vinyl but I have a black vinyl corset from hot topic that I never ended up wearing anywhere so if you want it you can have it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Sadly I am a caffeine junkie and drink at least one large mug of coffee every day plus diet soda, ugh I’m a bad girl I know https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif But I had already been thinking about limiting myself to one caffeinated drink a day anyway so maybe I should try to wean myself off of that and see if it makes a difference…..hmmmmm https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Thanks everyone for the responses! And thank you Mommabear for sharing all of that with me, I feel a little better knowing I’m not the only one out there that is experiencing this. I will have to try the remedies suggested here, I have wanted to try hot yoga after reading that thread on here about it and now even more so if it helps with anxiety. I will pick up that green tea stuff as well and look into other natural herbs/pills to take. I’m hoping some of that stuff will help me so I can maybe eventually wean myself off the medication like you girls have done https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
