Sorry, I have a mount, but I’m not sure. I want to say it came with a couple screws, but my husband put it up & I don’t remember

My friends kids ALL love playing on the poles. Most everyone in my house already knows I pole, so there’s usually not much of a reaction. My favorite is when I guy comes over & takes a swing on the pole, then he has to give me credit for being strong enough to pole. The furniture delivery guys & cable guy my house as the one with a stripper pole.

If your having trouble with a lil mynx ceiling mount call them. My first mount was spinning around & chewing up the Sheetrock. Randy made me a new mount with extra screws & it’s been perfect ever since

X pole has a vaulted ceiling mount. I use one in my house & it works great.

You shouldn’t need a pay membership to see user videos, but I’m no help with a solution.
7 feet is at least tall enough to get started with pole! I’d really check out x-pole tho. They work under 8 feet & you could still use it with different extensions somewhere else. Plus, it doesn’t need any screws if you use the some with it. -

It’s the 28th, I will try to get a video up after

I haven’t worn the top to much yet, got it for a performance I have coming up. So far it’s pretty comfortable, not making me itch, & no sequins have come off yet.

I have the sequin top. Really cute & good sparkle, but I wouldn’t use it without a bra under

It could be worse, it was -18 today & it’s -20 now. That’s 20 degrees below zero. BRRR! Turning my heat way up to get my pole warm.

MemberDecember 4, 2012 at 1:25 pm in reply to: gluten free/dairy free, eating more vegetablesFor sure check out a local gluten free shop if there is one in your area. Ceiliac.com is a good recourse with lots of info. I just did 4 weeks of gluten free hoping I’d feel better after, but no luck. I’ve heard it takes 4-6 weeks to clear totally clear your self from gluten & it’s best not to cheat at all during that time. Also, I just learned coffee can trigger a reaction for some with a gluten sensitivity:(
I really like quinoa for gluten free pasta, chex for cereal, & Kens salad dressing brand. Also, my mom makes awesome brownies with black beans of all things.
My mom found out she has celiac last year & feels much better now that she has changed her diet. -
Yay!!!! My first class I sweat so much that my fingers turned to raisins like if I was swimming for an hour.

Pole wear is perfect for hot yoga. Something you can sweat in that wont get weighed down from soaking up sweat. I put off going for a while, but am super grateful a friend finally basically made me go.
-
You will be great & love it. I just finished a hot cass that uses a lot of the same moves as bikram & I feel so great.
-
Also, show up a little early to get checked in & everything. I like a hot spot in front by the mirror. But, a cooler spot is by the door & being behind someone can help you follow along. Let your teacher know its your first class.

Bring a towel to lay on your mat. They sell special sized towels to fit over a yoga mat, makes a big difference. I found one for $20 on amazon. Hydrate for sure. I actually feel really great after a class & even the next day. They say you should try 3 classes before deciding if you like it, but I knew right away I love it. If you really don’t like it, try a different instructor or studio. It’s crazy how different yoga can be just with different teachers.
-
Do it! I just started taking hot yoga classss a few weeks ago & it is amazing! I’ve never liked yoga, but got yoga rocks. I don’t think I can really describe how great it makes me feel, but I love it just about as much as I love my pole.

I was even more surprised when I stopped by her work & found out she’d been showing off my pole pics. Now she’s my best consultant for help with costume & routine details. I’m a lucky gal to have such a great mom!

I took my stripped screw down to my local hardware store, had them match the size for a new screw. Super cheap & quick.
