in germany nele sehrt can make you a official polebatics teacher, but i don´t know wheather this is internationally recognized.

i also teach poledance without any certification as i think those which are offered here in germany are just to make money… you pay 600€-1800€ and you get teached 3-9 days. 

i know a teacher who got a certification in swiss. now she maybe knows how she should theoretically teach but if you aren´t a good pole dancer (she didn´t do any pole dance before and 3days are definitly not enough to learn pole dance) how will you make you students to a good dancer.

 

if you feel ready to teach and you have a good technic just offer cheap trial lessons. your students will notice wheather you´re a good teacher no matter if you have a certification or not. 

i always loved teaching (not only pole dance, but also maths or english when i went to school) and my students always liked my training.

if you don´t invest too much money, then you can just try it and if it doesn´t work or you recognize that teaching is not the right job for you haven´t lost anything

i´m not sure, but i think i saw you once dancing pregnant in a video on your pole… so this might be not the surprise. 

maybe you´ll get a new pole (designed by yourself^^) or a new pole room?

i always start with a short warm up (walking, hip circles, move arms,….) for about 5min and then stretch every important part of the body just a little (legs, arms/ shoulders, neck, hips, ankles) then the main part follows (tricks and spins)

i try to mix it a bit. to get more warm i start with spins, then continue with tricks and when they get too tired get back to spins.

at the and i sometimes add some strenght training.

and if your students get too tired (for beginners a hour can be really long) i do some stretching or floorwork in the middle.

 

 

always start with some moves to get used to the pole like walking and turns on the ground.  i think this is really important before you start with spins and tricks as some may never have used a pole before.

i have a choreography on my youtube account i made for a girl who doesn´t pole that long. if you don´t want to make a own one, you could just cut out the invert. beside one invert it only includes spins and beginner tricks (for 6 weeks you also may have to use just half of it)

but i would definitly teach them a choerography, my students always love them and it´s important to know how you can put tricks and spins together.

a watched a youtube assembly video and saw what you mean with the metal rod.  maybe i´ll save money for a original pole, so this would be just a temporary solution and hope that my pole will last until i can buy one ^^…

my dad will order the metal pieces at the business where he works so we will get it  a bit cheaper. about 150-200€ should be totally enough i think (instead of 750€ for a xpole x stage shipped to me).

we could make the covers out of wood and only the rest of metal. i also thought about not covering it at all (we want to make it with long legs like the star stand alone). i don´t touch often the ground while i pole and could also just cover it with some mats. i already have some i can put around my pole.

thanks for your answers. i never thought the pole could bend, because the x pole x stages have two-piece-poles too. we want to make a seperate tube around the lower part of the pole, when we make it high enough the pole won´t bend anymore hopefully

we won´t use any plans of the internet as they all seem to be made for amateurs who just need them for fun and parties ^^

we wanted to make it of metal, my dad knows someone who can weld everything together if we buy the materials.  i thought about stainless steel or aluminium.

i also thought of buying a one-piece pole and to powder coat it, but i´m not sure wheather the grip would be good on it…

as a student saving for a xpole would take forever …. and the shipping to germany is really expensive (about 180 pounds)

i never read the translation ^^ i decided to do the tutorials and also the names of the tricks in english, so that everyone can understand them (i also don´t like the german names for most tricks and don´t know most of them as most pole dancers use the english terms)

yes, the chopper is more difficult than it looks. it needs a lot of strenght to stay in the postition. with my students i start with working on lifting the legs straight to the front from the ground (pole between legs) while holding the pole to build up some strenght in their abs, arms and legs at the same time.

if she´s flexible enough, she could grab the pole with her left hand, then lift the left leg up and twist on the right leg around while the other leg still is lifted. so she´ll get into a backsplit. from this postion she could just swing the lifted leg in front on the stage.

i hope you understand my description ^^
