thanks webmaster. that´s really great that you are so supportive and allow others to share their links!
so here is my homepage link:
http://emotioncatcher.en.funpic.de/
it´s the first homepage i´ve ever made. i would like to know what you think about it, although most of you won´t understand my german texts ^^
-
i´m not sure wheather i´m allowed to post it here, because i have some tutorials on it… i´ll send you a message with the link
-
i posted it already last night and didn´t get any bad comments, but many new homepage clicks! ^^ my brother was surprised that i managed to make a homepage alone and send me a song a could dance to =)
-
thanks so much for the support and for encouraging me, i´ll post it tomorrow and let you know what reactions i got!

if she´s flexible enough, she could grab the pole with her left hand, then lift the left leg up and twist on the right leg around while the other leg still is lifted. so she´ll get into a backsplit. from this postion she could just swing the lifted leg in front on the stage.
i hope you understand my description ^^

MemberAugust 7, 2011 at 3:37 pm in reply to: what’s your favorite pole move (or combo)?also with the cradle invert, you just have to hook your leg from the front (like you would do a brass monkey). you can see the trick here: http://www.poledancecommunity.co.uk/syllabus.html?mvlvl=4
i also have an old video of it (can´t remember in which of my new ones i maybe did it), but the way i get into it doesn´t look so good ^^:

but you might get an idea how to get into it

MemberAugust 7, 2011 at 3:12 pm in reply to: what’s your favorite pole move (or combo)?i also tried going in the pencil or archer, you have to do this from the knot. i also found this a bit tricky, especially sliding down with the hands… but finally got it =)
i filmed a new video this morning where i did a air cradle invert, too. gonna upload it now!

MemberAugust 7, 2011 at 3:00 pm in reply to: what’s your favorite pole move (or combo)?ok, i googled it now. the recliner mount is the same as the cradle invert. i can do it aerial, too. in some of my videos i do it , but this one was old and i could just get up from the ground.
i didn´t mean the way i get up, only the trick when you are already up.
the cradle invert or recliner is just going up into a basic invert or crucifix.
so i only thought the trick/position after the mount is new.
i hope my english is good enough that u understand what i mean ^^

MemberAugust 7, 2011 at 7:47 am in reply to: what’s your favorite pole move (or combo)?i also like swinging my leg from the butterfly into flatline scorpio =)
i have many favourite moves, but i think i can pick out two tricks i think i love a little bit more than the others ^^
1. the twisted grip lift: because i´m really proud that i´m able to do this move as i always was impressed when i saw others doing it
2. the emotion: a trick i discovered on my own =)

good that you mentioned that the split is only a illusion. because when i tried it the front leg always turned a bit out, so that i also couldn´t do a complete split and it was more an X like you described it or maybe a side V =)
-
i tried it (right now ^^) and you can also do it without being able to do a over split (i didn´t stretch myself before and can only do a normally split when i´m well prepared), but it might look better =)
you should first learn the balancing, there are similiar positions without a split, you could try first. your body is completely straight and the arms are like in the picture, the elbow on which you balance is near to your hip.
when you try to balance this position or the split, the placement of the elbow is really important. when you fall back put your elbow lower and when you fall in front put it a bit higher untill you find your best point to stay in the position!
i hope this helped you a bit

i had the same problem a few times, too. when i watch polevideo and see a new trick i sometimes have to try it immediatly and also forget to watch how to get out =)
-
they make all the tricks look so easy =) i started working on the "marion amber" and it´s also harder than i thought! i can turn around so that i´m in the twisted grip with my legs still in a pike, but when i want to get into the split i loose my balance as soon as i stretch the left leg… hope i´ll soon get it!^^
-
that´s a great website and they have some very individual tricks with great videos! i tried a few of the tricks last monday, maybe i´ll post a video later =)

@ joni: where did you find the shipping costs? i would like to know how much it would cost to ship them to germany, but when i click on shipping at felixcaneonline, com there is still the filler text…

you can get adobe photoshop at their homepage for a few days to try it it for free. if the test time is over you can still get another version of the program. so u could at least edit your pics for a few weeks

scorpio: couldn´t it be that your grip problem depends on your skin? then you could try it of course with grip aids, although this wouldn´t be the best solution. but as you already tried different hook variation, i can´t figure out what else might be the problem.
allegra: i struggeled a bit with this to, for me the easiest way to get into it is from the flatline scorpio. because in this way it´s easy to grip around you leg.
superman: when you pull up you should grip with one hand under yourself, so that you are in the "side v". then get as close to the pole with your booty as you can. another way to get into it is from the pike hip hold, just grip over your booty and lift you upper body.
i hope trying to get the tricks in another way can help you as it already helped me sometimes.
when i do the ckr i have my right leg at the top, but i think there´s no difference. but you should definitly try the other side, if you haven´t yet. maybe it´ll help.
furthermore i think it´s easier and safer so learn it from a handstand than from the polesit. in the handstand you can always hold yourself with the arms and change your leg position to find the right one, which will allow you to let your hands go without sliding down.
wish you good look with your tricks, i´m sure you´ll get them! you could also post videos, then it would be easier to see, what you could do different

i think if the protectors won´t work i´ll get the panel. if it last only one year $20 would be worth it!
@pennygirl: in the apartment i´m leaving, we have kind of pvc-floor. until now my heels didn´t make any scratches in it. it´s also good for dancing as it´s nor too slipperly neither too sticky and cold. but i think it doesn´t look really pretty ^^
-
it´s not a matter of the pressure with the foam mats, it´s just because of the shape… how expensive was the panel? i ordered now the special designed protectors for my heels as this might be the easiest solution, but i´m unsure wheather it´ll work
