I don’t think it’s so rare. I have the same problem since I bought my pole in december. I still can not do anything on my pole without slipping.
I use Dry Hands and it helps a bit for 1 or 2 tricks but right after i slip again. I clean my pole with rubbing alcohol or windex (not directly on the pole) but the “grease’ come back every time.
In my pole class, i don’t have this problem at all. My teacher uses Xstage and I stick a lot better on them.
Do you think the Xclean will help? I’m really discouraged. I can not do anything at home so I don’t use my pole anymore…

I try to do flexibility exercices almost everyday but i do not see much improvement.
It’s discouraging.

For your question: montre a tous le monde la vérité a propos de la pole. Que ce n’est pas juste du topless que ca prend de la force et flexibilité.
