While powder coated poles do offer great grip it will not help if you have a layer of moisture between your skin and pole. I would think that brass or titanium gold would be your better options seeing as they are more porous than stainless, chrome or powder coated.

This was just asked in a group I am in. Guys are going to tend to want to learn more of the Chinese style of pole as opposed to the sexy side. Depending on the style of your studio this can be an issue.

I cannot believe that a chair spin was taught at a second class. This is an advanced spin and is a half step away from being a one handed spin. Actually, you should be able to do a one handed fireman before even attempting this spin (but that is my opinion on progression of moves).
BTW, I still cannot do what I would consider a "proper" chair spin, and I am 5+ years in.

No, malt vinegar is not white vinegar. Malt vinegar is made from barley, is brown and has a distinctive flavor (used on fires and potato chips a lot). I want to say that it may leave a sticky residue.

Their site is blocked from me at work so I cannot confirm that.

Not all brass is created equal and it does get grippier the more you use it. I have a love hate relationship with brass…..there is only a small window when it is good for me. Either I am slipping or gripping so much I am tearing skin. I know the first generation xpoles were brushed but I think they are now polished.

I have not heard much about the XPole brass since they changed the finish.

There are only a handful of trusted poles. Sorry to say but anything about $150 new I would never trust.

I cannot use itac on my hands at all…I have the same issues with butter hands. Many people use it just on part of their body where they need extra grip….knee pits, bottom of foot, etc.

Yes, it is made with a small amount of wobble to account for uneven floors.

I believe that many of the people who have images/videos stolen have been contacted and will be contacting the host site.

Actually Jen Butson is the name of a person who probably had their photo stolen along with everything else on this site. LizzyLiz did an image search and found this website: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2012/4/prweb9359989.htm
I am sure this woman has no idea her picture is being used.
