I don't know of many people who actually dance in 8" heels (save a few badasses like Shadow). Generally most start at 5.5 or 6" and work their way up.
All but one pair of my boots are ankle high just because my calves sweat like crazy. Ankle high ones keep them aired but knee high or higher for me are very uncomfortable. Have you ever gone roller or ice skating? How sweaty were your feet? This is pretty much what dancing in boots is going to feel like, except most skates are leather whereas most dance boots are vinyl (read, they don't breathe).

There are a few threads and videos on here. This is probably one of the most useful ones:

I know that Charley Crystal has small feet too. Let me see if I can get her to chime in here.

I can't say that I have one "model" per se. There are so many in the pole world that I highly admire but all for different traits.
There was a thread a while back asking this and I would have to say that my post there still rings true: While I admire a lot of the performers I would not consider any of them "idols" per se. The ones I see as idols are the ones who are advancing this community and sport in ways we cannot even imagine….Veena, Charley, Wendy, Mary Ellyn, Alena, Bobbi, Tinu and I am sure there are others (not sure who is behind the LA Pole show).
Here is that thread:https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/4d71a770-9fa0-4e25-badd-22f60ac37250

On a side note, my husband and I have gone down to The Arnold in CBus quite a few times. Part of the fun we have is looking at the different people down there. I can attest that seeing women like the pics I posted in real life is just as disturbing (at least in my eyes). It is also just a different form of body mosification. While some enjoy tatting their bodies or getting all sorts of piercings, some enjoy taking their bodies to extreme musculature. While I would love to have the dedication to have a body like say Marlo I just do not have the lifestyle or dedication to do it.

In order to look like the female bodybuilders you really have to be EXTREMELY dedicated to your diet and also get your bodyfat content down near the single digits. Female bbers do not maintain that low of BF as it interferes with so much. They will generally start cutting a few months out from a comp and that is basically the only time they really see how they have shaped the different muscles. But with bbers you know that their muscle have been shaped by steel, not by movement such as pole for the most part. Look at Jamie Eason comp and non comp. She has a very different body. Marlo, Pantera and Rafaela I think have the most muscle bound bodies out of the polers I can think of off the top of my head. I think Pantera told me she maintains at 18% BF and I know for a fact that she lifts heavy. When women drop below that percentage it starts interfering with hormonal functions and even healing.
The really bulked bbers have done injections and there is a different class for them. This is not natural in any way shape or form:

MemberOctober 19, 2012 at 3:36 pm in reply to: Waking up with a random song in your head"I see things out of the corner of my eye often, or I feel like I do. There are also certain homes or area where I just don't get a good "vibe"."
I have been there.
So in tying this with the other thread, does our creativity maybe open up other areas of our brain or maybe is it the other way around, other areas are open which cause us to be more creative and intuitive?
See, stuff like this fascinates me. I know in real life I tend to get along better with those that have an "ability". It is like we are drawn together. I cannot explain it but it just happens that way. I have also found that many are also extremely sexual. I am not sure if there is a correlation but guess who is going to be doing some research?? I wonder if the creativity also allows us to feel more things which draws us to sex. And maybe to take this to an even more extreme level, and I will say there may be TMI right now, but how many of us are multiply orgasmic? Oooooo….I just love when something makes my brain tingle.

MemberOctober 19, 2012 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Waking up with a random song in your headI randomly will smell cigarette smoke either in the middle of the night or just the other day when I was walking into the one of the kid's rooms.
Strange but true story, you choose to believe it. My house is a stopping ground for some reason. I have never had visitors stay for very long and they have never caused an issue. Recently (within the last year) my Jack Russell would not step into our bedroom, let alone sleep in our bed. Now this is a dog who has faithfully slept by my belly since he was a pup and he is going on 13. I am talking shaking uncontrollably when he is in our room. Where I feel or smell something, my husband actually sees. Well it appears that my little dog does too. After my husband told the visitor that he had to leave because he was upsetting our dog, Quincy will now come into our bedroom. He still will not sleep in there as he now feels he has to protect the house, but he will wander in and check on us in the middle of the night. He will however sleep with us when we go camping without issue.

I will also say that it can present itself like a heart attack. As a matter of fact my husband was diagnosed with this and sent home. Luckily our family doctor scheduled a stress test for him and they found a 90% blockage that required a stent placement. All of his bloodwork came back just fine so there were no idicators that he was having heart issues. It was not until they did imaging tests that they found the issue.
I guess what I am trying to say is if you have pains and read this thread do not just assume it is inflammation of the connective tissue; it could possibly be something worse.
