There was discussion a while back about these. We all see something and rush to get it because we think we will use it and it will make us super bendy. Honestly they do not do anything different or better than CONSISTENT stretching does. I can guarantee you that if you stretch at minimum 3 times a week that you will see increases like you would not think was possible. No piece of equipment is a miracle.

I am not really sure where the whole "vagina monster" name came from but I want to say it happened in Detroit.

Vagina monster is not just the wiggling legs, it is the walking on your butt with your legs in a V shape. When you do this your legs move to get the momentum. Charley does it in this video starting at 1:38. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngrATOjcTCM
Basically just imagine walking on your butt cheeks but trying to do it sexy. THAT is Vagina Monster!

They have showcased pole away in the past but it has not hit the market yet. That system looks cool.

I believe that either Karol or Alethea have done rolfing and I know that Aerial Amy has also (here is her blog on it http://aerialamy.com/blog/2012/01/13/rolfing/). I did one session and while I would love to do more, the guy only travels into NE Ohio sporadically and it was really hard to align our schedules. I do know that the further into the 10 session they become rather painful. Sessions are not cheap either. You are looking at investing $1000-2000 over the course of treatment; depending on your location. I think my session was $110, I think Amy's was over $150.
As a side note, I know a few body builders that believe in this. That is how I originally found out about it.

That is probably the very best resource I can give you to learn how to slow it down and feel and breathe the music. I know there is an S Factor semi near you. They have intro classes all the time; take an intro class. They are advertising 2 free classes on their website. Just suck it up and do it. You may feel strange at first but once you are about 15-20 minutes into the class you will relax and feel the flow.

Forgot to add, Zumba, yoga, gyms, hair/nail/tanning salons….pretty much any place where women regularly go.

Craigslist!
Contact bridal shops and tuxedo shops in your area and see if they would be wiling to have business cards or flyers out at their location. Also many grocery stores and coffee chops have advertising boards when you walk in that you can post things on. Stop by the local lingerie.sex shops. As strange as this may sound, are their any swingers clubs or alternative lifestyle groups in your area? What about burlesque troupes?

Don't sell your 50, just add a 45! While I am not a huge fan of 45s there are some moves that are definitely easier on it.

If you have a marine shop any where near you check with them. I found a swivel single clasp at home depot or Lowes that had enough load rating when I had my swing up.

MemberApril 10, 2013 at 2:24 pm in reply to: Where to travel to pole dance for 3 weeks?I know that both Alethea and Zoraya have intensive training where you can live with them for several days to a week and train train train. Although with Alethea I am pretty sure drinking and partying are part of the package too.

MemberApril 10, 2013 at 2:22 pm in reply to: Where to travel to pole dance for 3 weeks?Does it have to be one location? I would probably start the end of August (23-25) going to Midwest Pole Competition in Chicago, spend a few days traveling to Nashville and cheking out The Chrome Bar and then on to NYC for classes at several studios. From there I would hop a plane and go to Vegas for Pole Expo Sept 5-8. After Pole Expo I would travel to California. With the expos you have the ability to take workshops and privates with numerous instructors in one location and with the travel days you have rest days built in.
