I can honestly say that I have also gotten burned "mix tapes/cds" from someone with music that is now on my ipod. For a short time I was downloading music (mostly stuff that I already had on vinyl) but it got to the point of what I was getting was either a virus or was such crappy quality that I have gone to just setting a budget for myself and buying itunes gift cards. I do still download stuff off of Soundcloud but that is a totally different story when it comes to music. Generally there it is a DJ or musician who has put togther their own version of something so it is not copywrited.
There was a thread here a while back about someone snagging someone's photo and using on their site. I know that Webby just recently found one of Veena's pictures advertising classes at a pole studio. This really is no different.
We have all spent a few hundred dollars on a pole. Somehow we found the money to do this. Should we not also somehow find the money to support those that have put in time and effort to put training videos out there?

Again, you all are reading too much into this. I thought it would be a fun thing to post here. Many of us have laughed and had memories brought back up by participating. I did not make this up, I saw it on someone's FB yesterday and we were having a blast there so I thought I would bring it over. If it continues to offend anyone I will ask webby to lock and or delete the post.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are typically bendy buddies days. If I get in there it is not usually until 7-8pm est. I am going to try tonight after my hip hop class, so probably around 8:30ish.

Charley, in direct response to your question about giving away/reselling dvds. I had this conversation with a guy where I work who is a musician (and gets some nice royalty checks). This past summer I started buying used cds and vinyls and was wondering about the legality/how royalties are collected (they are not after the initial sale). This is kind of where the file sharing gets into grey areas. Technically I could lend you/sell you/give you the original that I purchased and that can go on and on and on until that original is not longer viewable/listenable and it is perfectly legal to do such ON THAT ORIGINAL disc. Now if I take that and burn it to my computer and start sending it to all sorts of people there are issues. However I can make copies of it for my own personal use (I used to do this all the time with CDs that would get trashed in my car). There are a lot of fine lines. Pretty much though it comes down to, if you are getting something on a torrent site or a file share site that you know if a piece of copywrited material it is illegal. Period.

Ummm…I cannot even bridge because I lack the flexibility in my shoulders to get my arms back there.
There are SOOOOOOOOO many moves that do not require flexibility. If you know that this is your weak spot then work on moves that suit your body type. I have a short waist which makes a lot of moves pretty much impossible. Add to that my tight shoulders, tight hamstrings and limited back mobility and you have knocked off so many moves that I think are pretty but I realize I won't be able to do. BUT the moves that I CAN do are MINE.
It all comes back to us being our worst critic. Both Charley and Amy wrote blogs about this recently. Theye are both excellent reads:

There are many here that get discouraged at some point or another….I don't think ANY of us have not felt the way you do. I guess I am trying to say you are not alone and you will get past this.

The biggest part of split grip is proper technique. You really should not be using that bottom hand for support in any way, it should just be used to push your body away from the pole.
If you have the technique down then I strongly suggest getting wither a powerball or wrist roller.

As for the swearing, it all depends on if this is his normal day to day vocabulary or how he reacts when he gets pissed. Muy husband swears and throws things when he is knee deep in fixing things and the more he swears the worse things are going (and I know to stay far away). In the heat of an argument it IS a lack of respect because you are going for the quickest way to hurt someone and shut them down. Not everyone fights the same. Some people get really quiet, some people throw things, some people get very nasty. If you understand a person's fighting style then you understand what things to take with a grain of salt and what things to get upset about.

Oh God dear, I have been where you are and then some. There are a few things I am going to say here. First and foremost, those that love and live passionately also fight passionately. It has taken many years for my husband and I to learn to fight fair but until that happened he always went in for the kill. There are stressors in your life and the wedding on top of it is making matters worse. The two of you need to sit down when both of you are chill and discuss things.
Fights happen and they can be ugly. However you cannot make any decision unless you have a calm and rational mind, and right now you don't.
One thing I learned is that the two of you need to be best friends. You should be able to tell him ANYTHING that you have typed here. It will not be easy but it is needed in order to make a relationship work. As strange as this may sound, check out any of the sights that talk about people in open/alternative relationships. There is a lot of really great relationship advice in there and how to deal with anger and jealousy. Explain to him though before hand why you are looking at those types of sites because the last thing you need is him thinking you are looking for something on the side on top of this all.
