I have seen prices from $30 to over $100 for a private. It kind of depends on your skill level and aslo what is typical in your area. Where LA and NY herre in the states can get away with higher charges, most of the Midwest cannot.

There are quite a few here. What are your specific questions? If you are wondering, it cannot go to 14 feet in your garage. It would have to be permanently mounted to get that height and then I would also request their competition pole which is reinforced. Aerial Amy has had tall ones in NY bend/warp in the middle and actually come down on her.

Same for you race911…what move are you having difficulties with grip? There are different "tricks" for different issues and without knowing what specifically you are having issues with it is difficult to help.

I tuck invert and used to teach this way. It is not a deadlift in any way but you do have to make sure that when you tuck your arms are still bent. If they are straight there is no expansion left when you tilt and it will never happen.

My bad…their price is in pounds, not euro, which is even worse on the exchange. 799 pounds = 1215 dollar. Then 300 popunds for worldwide shipping (an additional $450)

MemberApril 1, 2013 at 10:05 am in reply to: Optional moves to finish routine with.. Suggestions please?Dangerous Brian (sorry, misspelled in the first post) is an ankle hang. Many make a bridge out of it, but I use this to get up out of bow and arrow. Without the second leg on the pole I have an easier time getting a place to grab with my hands.

Quite the opposite actually when you are on an SSRI. Low carb is not recommended on SSRI's.

XPoles do not spin like the PS do when in spin mode without body weight.
-
Will htere be an XPole sposored event in your area any time in the near future? Mnay times they either have new ones for quite a discount or used ones for even more of a discount.

LizzyLiz810 did a video I think about the EZ connect although I no longer see it on her page. She may still have it up on youtube.

Their prices are in Euro. 799 euro is curently $1019. (Last time I had priced them the exchange rate was worse.) That is without shipping.

Just a quick comment…….there are so many online stores that you should never pay GNC's prices. I am not sure about Canada, but I can literally purchase something from bodybuilding.com and have it delivered the next day, at max 2 days. All All Star Health is another great company. Last ditch efforts are usually VitaCost and Vitamin Shoppe.

They are ridicolously expensive in US dollars. You are looking at bout $1500 not including shipping. Don't even consider them.

Monday is pole play which usually is 2 hours, Tuesday is date night with hubby so I do not work out at all, Wednesday is Zumba and I try to stretch afterwards, Thursday is up in the air but I try to get *something* in, Friday I bowl for an hour, Saturday is Zumba and who knows what else, Sunday is a rest day. My husband wants to find some sort of stretching class for us to go to on Tuesday and Friday so I am currently looking into that. We took the bendability workshop in Detroit at the Showcase and he LOVED it. He does martial arts but was never shown so many of the stretches that we did during that workshop. With summer (hopefully) approaching bike riding, hiking and walking the dogs will get worked into my schedule.

(note, she had them cut a little shorter to accomodate new flooring she was planning on putting in)
I believe Shine Fitness also has PD: http://sphotos-c.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc6/302865_393622784051334_433529756_n.jpg

The movement is exactly like when the x screws are not in all the way.

BTW, there are a few studios that have free standing poles like this. Veena was even at one of them. There have been quite a few threads over the years. This one is helpful: https://www.studioveena.com/forums/view/4e9a18e7-4ac0-4ae3-b342-7a1c0ac37250

In order for this to work you will need to sink the base on the pole into the concrete. There is no way bolts into the floor will be able to support the entire torque you will put on the pole. Think about fence posts or flag poles or any type of post….they are all sunk into the ground and stabilized usually with footers or concrete.

I would call Poledanzer and talk to them as I am not sure about that height with a vaulted mount.
The little shift is not unlike what you feel with the pin on the PS poles. There is a little movement of the pole spin wise and that is just from the small amount of space you need in the hole for the pin so that you can get it in and out. There is similar movement with X Poles also due to the way the base is designed.
PD has RIDICULOUS spin capability….I have never been on any other brand that spins as fast or as smoothly as theirs do. I have not been on their stainless but I believe that Mary Ellyn has them at one of her studios. Their stainless I have heard is similar to a well broken in PS pole.
I know a lot of strip clubs use poledanzer. They have been around for quite some time.

Now compare her build to someone like Karol. Karol keeps protein drinks with her and drinks a ton of water yet she is super slim. Genetics…
