I do not have the lessons here but I am sure that Veena has some great ones. She also recently did a video that was pretty much all floor work that would be good to watch. There are quite a few that started out in S Factor that I would recommend to watch….Amy is the first to come to mind. If you can, also try to locate the S Factor dvds. Out of everything I've watched this is the only series that I know that really devotes everything to slow fluid movement.

Need video hun. When I invert I almost push myself away from the pole to get my legs higher. I have a feeling that if you have been doing any of the splits exercises you have gained some flexibility and are able to fold yourself in half a little more than before, thus causing you to stay closer to the pole. Of course, I may also be talking out my butt.
I wish I had my days free so I could come see you.

While I admire a lot of the performers I would not consider any of them "idols" per se. The ones I see as idols are the ones who are advancing this community and sport in ways we cannot even imagine….Veena, Charley, Wendy, Mary Ellyn, Alena, Bobbi, Tinu and I am sure there are others (not sure who is behind the LA Pole show).

When I climb my left hand always ends up on top. On baseball grip inverts, whichever armpit the pole is in is the hand on the bottom.

Or Nymph, she thinks you are bisexual and is freaked out! (and yes, you may laugh all you want at this comment)

Do you dance at all when you pole or are you just about the tricks? For me dancing in heels does a lot for the bum as well as hip circles and sexy squats and such. Also, in order to get enough power for spins and things I use a lot of plyo type moves.

Looks a little sketchy to me. Looks like the "extenders' are put in place with plastic inserts…there is no way I would throw my 150 lbs around that pole with only a little bit of plastic keeping 2 pieces together.
I am also leery of any pole company that puts things like feather boas and pasties in with their pole "kit". This screams prop pole, not professional.

And just so no one gets on me….I know Momma personally. She knows I mean no harm in my comment.
Speaking of shoe mishaps, I have gotten the laces from one boot caught on the hoops of the other boot (not fun), I have gotten my laces caught on someone else's boot loops and gotten my fishnets caught in the my loops. Pretty much every one of these required a very thought out escape.

Sounds as if she maybe got the pole as a fad and then just did not use it. Not everyone researches like true junkies do.
Main difference between the Xpert and original is bottom loading or top loading.
As far as replacememnt parts, XPole seems like a pretty upstanding company and even if you were not the original owner they would back anything that was defective. I don't know this for sure, just making comment on XPole's perceived customer service.

Momma…I am sitting and eating my lunch and laughing at you. Yeah, you heard me right. Well, maybe with you too. And yes, I have done this.
