    I worked on handstands while preparing for this to get my shoulders strong to hold myself.  Also, this move is predominately hamstrings to lift you, not arms.  The way that was taught during a workshop was to get yourself into inverted crucifix, place your hands on the pole between your chest and push out into plank.  Once you are in plank, use nothing but your hamstrings to pull your butt up into the air.  Even just doing this move will prepare you.

    The patches are designed with a molecule size and carrier that will pass through and go systemic, which is why they are all regulated by the FDA.  Most of the tanners are HUGE sugar molecules and totally unregulated (well, a bit by the cosmetics act).  The thing that disturbs me is products like melanotan that start systemic and seep out to your skin……shudder.  Oh, and that orange glow is sooooooo attractive!

    Practice, practice, practice.  Not only do I pole but I also take some intensive cardio classes.  As much as I hate cardio it has really helped with the stamina and heavy breathing.

    This is untrue.  2 things, the molecules that make up these spray tanners are way too large to pass through the epidermis and get into the bloodstream.  Second, if this were the case (it entering the bloodstream) it would be classified as a drug by the FDA and would have to undergo clinical testing.  Now on the spray tanners like Mystic and such there is a possibility of inhaling the spray or if it gets on your lips you can ingest it.

  • I have a hot pink mynx and they are very grippy.  Bought mine used off ebay 4 years ago.

    I want to know how anyone equates pole with porn?  Anyone who looks around at the videos posted to this site are going to go away quickly because they are not going to see what they may have thought they were going to see.

     

    Also, if you have an issue with any member getting creepy there is a "contact Us" link at the bottom of pretty much every page.  Click that, report what is going on and that person will POOF. 

     

    I agree 100% with Webmaster.  This community grows from support…from watching and posting videos, from getting feedback and just getting that one person that sees something maybe you did not see.  I am not ashamed of pole dancing or to have my pictures associated with it.  Every person in my family knows what I do, all of my co workers know what I do, who else am I trying to hide from??  There is NO SHAME in what we have taken up as a sport.  I understand being a private person but to those that want the site locked down is taking things a bit too far.

    I am going to warn you that spray tanning will not keep you from burning in the natural sun and may make it even worse.

    Val from infinity has an ab workout involving the pole that will kill you.  She called them 20-20-20 and it is lying on your back with your head a few inches from the pole…grab like SM and then bring legs up and touch toes to pole, next 20 V the legs, last 20 jack knife to either side.   You WILL hurt!

    There is a yoga move called the plow that can help.  Also, at the gym on the sit up bence sit upside down with your head high and your legs low an try to do reverse crunches this way.

    There are 4 screws I believe that attach A section to the bearing.  When those are undone the pole should slide easily off the bearing.  Can you not get the bearing off the A piece or is it not sitting in the base properly?  Also on the base there are 2 screws, one is very small (the smallest hex key) and the other is the one marked with an X.  The small one may not be positioned correctly.  It is actually 2 hex screws and you need to get the first one completely out in order to adjust the depth of it.  I am unfamiliar with the original stage set up so I cannot help you on that aspect.

    Pink…please do not continue kicking into it.  I speak from experience that you can really hurt yourself.  If you do not have the control to get into it then you do not have the control to get out of it and you can do some serious rotator damage that will sideline you for MONTHS.

    HOWEVER the top of the Lil Mynx is not usable for poling.  It is a tube that slides into the other tube and there is quite a ridge at that point, so you still only have 8 feet of usable pole.
