It would involve being able to do I believe what is called a princess grip shoulder mount (think Felix's grip in her SM's). I remember seeing this a few years back at East Meets West I believe but I cannot remember who it was that did it in her rountine.

Full time chemist. I teach anywhere from 2-4 classes a week (typically only 2) and it one class per night. I am probably on the light end of number of classes that are taught. I do not teach weekends and with it only be 2 times a week it is not that difficult to find balance. When I cover it gets a little crazy because we have to set up and tear down poles for each class.

You need to determine what is causing the grip issue. If it is just strength then nothing. If it is due to sweaty hands then there are lots of grip aids out there. I wll not let my beginner girls touch grip aids unless they have 1) greasy hands or 2) sweaty hands.

I beleive that they are the same, the only difference with the 180 wear is that the printing is upside down so that when you are upside down, it is right side up.

Yes, you can purchase smaller extensions.

I think there are several situations happening here and they just happen to be similar and a misunderstanding may have happened. I do not think the original post was aimed specifically at anyone but rather posted as an FYI.

I used to at first but not so much any more. It was a real freak outfor me when I started going to a studio that had 12 foot poles. The thought of having my head upside down higher than 4 feet in the air immobilized me. For me it was learning a million ways to get out of things if something were to go wrong before I was totally comfortable.

Erica, I just want to say that I have noticed your presence here a lot lately and can see that PS is trying to actively address many of the concerns. It is nice to see someone taking ownership of customer service.

And I agree with calling them….LM is another company that has very good customer service.

The old instructions had you tighten it once it was up, the new instructions say to do it when down.

Is the drywall from your celining being eaten away? I know this is an issue with that mount but unfortunately do not have much info on the spinny mynxs. I am not quite sure how the spin mode even works on those as you really need a bearing at both the top and bottom.

Amy- I remember the one girl from S that kind of broke away (I cannot think of her name for the LIFE of me)……ahhhh….had to google…Yannori….I really loved her videos with the amber lighting and just her silhouette.

Did you do it on both sides?

Hi Anna. Unfortunately there was only one studio that I knew of semi close to that area and they are now closed. My mom lives in Camillus and every year when we go visit I look for studios. The lady who used to own the studio was named Kerilyn Reynolds….you may want to try finding her on FB or the likes. Golds Gym advertises that they have pole dancing but I do not see it on the schedule at either DeWitt or Liverpool.
