Xpole: Can easily be adjusted to fit any ceiling height so if you move or want to take it to a friend's house you can.  Have not heard a lot about their stainless poles.

PS: Easiest change from static to spin.  Customer service has greatly improved in the last 6 months as well as quality control.  Probably the "stickiest" stainless steel.

LM:  Once it is set to the proper height easiest to put up and take down.  Requires drilling into a stud.  Above 8 feet is unusable pole do to the way it adjusts.  Probably the slippiest stainless pole.

LM is going to be your cheapest option.  PS and X are similar in cost.

XPole brass are not coated however I believe that they may have a steel core for extra support.  Brass is a very soft metal so for XPole to be able to use their x joint technology and also have an adjustable pole it cannot be "all brass".  Even Platinum Stages brass pole is partially steel on the inside.

I will add that a ceiling is just drywall nailed to those joists.  As long as the piece of wood is securely screwed in and is thick enough you should have no issues.  A piece of drywall may be cheaper than plywood though.

I had my LM screwed into a joist in my garage without issue.

In one of the threads someone suggested buying one of the ceiling mounts and using that instead of the dome.

Let me root around.  This question ahs been brought up before and I know there have been answers to it.  I want to say poeple have nailed a board to the beams and then set the pole on the cross board.

I would look into the clean eating books.  It is not about dieting but eating better foods that your body needs.  The issue with cutting out a whole food group is that your body does need balance and you will start to get bored and possibly start craving those types of food.  Tosca Reno is the author.  There is a magazine she puts out called Oxygen that has a great website also.

Don't set huge goals but rather little ones that are achievable.  Instead of saying I want to lose 50 lbs by June 2012 do that in little increments.  And don't throw everything out the window if you fall off your plan.  Dust yourself off and get back on it.

(BTW Charley was the one asking about teaching)

As long as you have the little rubber feet you should be fine.  If you don't have the rubber feet they can be bought at Lowes or Home Depot

I have had patch testing done and it never took 3 visits (wonder if metals are different to test for?).  It is expensive though if your insurance does not cover it.

One other thing I will point out that many don't think about when they interview…if you are a smoker DO NOT smoke on your way to the interview and make sure your clothes do not smell of cigarette smoke.  I don't think most smokers realize how much they smell and how your hair and clothes trap the odor.

I am all for going green and I cannot imagine that beeswax is cheap.

I have been trying to track down information about this product from both Columbia and Master (both make a version) but have been unsuccessful.  Not really sure where this ebay seller got their information.  I used to have a jar but gave it to a guy at work who loves it for bowling.  I don't even think it had the ingredients listed on the jar or on the case it came in.

Is the cream a thermoplastic?  I am talking about the Columbia Non-Slip Grip Cream that they are selling as "powergrip cream".

And many ingredients used in paint are also used in eye makeup…touche.

Also, be sure of what you read on the sites.  First in Montreal, First certified in Montreal, and first fitness pole dancing school all do not say the same thing.
