Next, start getting involved/getting to know in some of the underground type clubs and events that rare happening around you. Is there a Dr Sketchy in your town? A lot of the fetish balls look at having aerial artists. Get to know the burlesque dancers in your area and start going to their events. This really is a network thing. I would also consider finding a stage name.

I did not even see Lady of Essence when I searched for pole studios in Houston.

I play the music in the background while Iam doing things like paying bills or surfing the net. I will pop back if something catches my fancy and like it, that way I can go and search out songs in one sitting.

You can find them at pretty much any Lowes, Home Depot, party store, craft store, Big Lots.

I have been to S Factor before….that was actually where I started 4 years ago when sites like this really did not exist. They really do slinky like no other studio I have been to before and I don't have problems with that.
I looked at Ego but I really am not looking for a pole fit class….I wanted to take a few things I don't have access to up here.

The one thing that kept me from getting my balance on this move was not having the pole way up in my cooch. I have long legs and without having the pole right up in there I was unable to get my upper/lower balance.

I seem to remember this on the studio poles….I think. I know I got the largest wrench I could to give me more leverage in turning the nut that sat right on top of the pole.

Second mention of the day: Check out some of the workout and dance song tracks at 8tracks. There are some incredible workout ones on that site. I have several playlists for my normal classes…I have warmup, emotional and bluesy that I will usually use for warm up and cool down.

This video was brought up here before. She is Lucy Cork, winner of Miss Pole Dance UK in 2010.

Englann…check out 8tracks. There is SOOOOOOOOO much good music there and lots of it can be found either on Soundcloud or as free downloads by a lot of the artists.
