You may want to check out Modelmayhem.com. On their browse page you can choose photographer and then your area. Many of the photographers on the site are more artistic. There are some racier photos there but you can see what their work is like.

I will agree with Sissy that there is something else there that is bothering him and he is using you poling as an excuse. There is nothing wrong with poling nor with a child seeing it. If anything it may make them more open minded when they get older. The two of you really need to talk, rationally and calmly, and try to find and resolve the problem.

I might be able to actually do this one!

I get major bruising on elbow grip, too….kinda looks like I have been playing with needles in a not so good way.
Can you caterpillar crawl? This is what got me comfortable with forearm grip. I still cannot do a proper forearm aysha (hips away from pole) but I can with elbow grip. For me it really is about pushing my hips away from the pole to find that balance point.

I have not been stretching like I hoped I would (I blame the holidays). I will post a pic in about another 30 days to see where I am.

I am also having the same bendiness issues.

I believe the video you are referring to is her Miss Pole Dance Australia video. She does 2 "drops", one at about 1:95 and the other at about 3:15. Many of her later routines also incorporate these moves.

MemberDecember 31, 2009 at 3:49 pm in reply to: compressing vids that are over 500mb???I downloaded and use debugmode wax with the xvid video codec. Just started playing with it last weekend but it is pretty easy. I don’t have the settings that I use here but I do at home and will type up something once I get there. I am compressing video taken with my digital camera which tend to be pretty big. It took about 20 minutes for a 3 minute video to compress.
In my opinion Movie Maker is just one frustration after another. I tried doing stuff with that program about a year ago and got nowhere. the one above took me about 2 hours of playing around in to get the basics, plus it has all sorts of editing stuff you can do which I have yet to play with.

Again, depends on the studio. Some do not let "outsiders" come to open pole (if they even have it). Best thing to do is call, or if you already go to Dolphin, inquire while you are there.

ooooooo im glad you mentioned remi martin, he makes my eyes pop out of my head when i watch him!!!!
Eike makes my tongue pop out. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gifHe and Remi are working together on a show that is starting in January (in Germany, of course).

I know for a fact that I am going to be in Columbus at the beginning of March but seeing as it is only 1.5 hours away I can do something pretty much any weekend.
Dos anyone currently go to Dolphin?

I would say minimum would be however tall you are. I personally would add a few feet onto that to compensate for arms being straight out and also shoes.

In my first post there is a link to an article that specifically mentions him.

BTW, the videos on your site are rugby matches, a movie clip and a commercial. Might want to have your web designer take a look at those.

If that is the video I am thinking of they are working on a Chinese pole, which is covered in neoprene. There are some awesome male performers of Chinese pole

I have mine up in my garage and I still kick things…but at 5’8" it is pretty inevitable. Even at the studio I go to I have kicked things (it is long and narrow), mainly chairs that have been left in my path. I really want to bring my pole inside and put it up in my office but there is no way I could do that because of the lack of space.

It is on Pantera’s video. And yes, it is a spinning shoulder mount.

What makes you think that grip aids are out of the question in static mode? I have never used spinny and use grip aids at times (especially this time of year).

Pleaser has a few shoes that have a thicker heel.

Plus a lot of their boots have wider heels.

any way you could tell me how thick the heel is on these? i LOVE LOVE LOVE them, but the studio i go to has a policy about shoes, and the heels have to be thicker than the size of a quarter. any way you could compare them to a quarter and tell me if they are thicker?
and, moving on, all of my shoes are ellie and i LOOOVE them. they are so comfortable and i’ve never had a problem with them. i danced 5 days a week for a MINIMUM of 2 hours a day last week in ellies and they held up totally well. i also abusive the hell out of my heels. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif
What part of the heel needs to be thicker than the size of a quarter? I have these same ones but made by Pleaser and the tip of the heel is pretty small….def smaller than a quarter.
