I wish I could remember the performance where Marlo did this.  Basically it looks like you are doing a cartwheel on the pole, so if you start on one side you drop your body down straight and then pull up on the other side.  Imagine a clock.  Your leg is at 12:00 and your body is at 7:00.  You would bring your body to 6 (Tammy) and then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and pull yourself back up into 12:00.  On an outside leg hang you would go from 7 to 8, 9, 10, 11, then 12.

I was going to suggest buying the shortest extension piece on both materials but I see that X does not make a 125 brass extension.  Boo.  This would have been a cheap way to check out both finishes.

By tawny I think she meant Tammy.  If you go from inside leg hang to this then you can twist your torso and climb over that hooked leg which was originally your inside leg.  Does that make sense?

The titanium is NOT a coating over chrome.  Titanium is naturally a silvery color.  In order for the gold color to come out an electrical current is passed through the metal and the top layer is oxidized…think rust on a car.  All you have done is removed this light surface coloration.  You have not removed the titanium.  We have all seen the jewelry…no one ever thinks it is the same stuff:

Here is more info if you would like to read about it:

I would muc prefer if XPole just offered a titanium pole and got rid of the coloring.

$250 is a really good price.  I am not sure what you are planning on using it for but do keep in mind the shortness of the pole and the difficulty in moving this due to weight.  Besides that I hope it looks as good in person!

Try searching through searchtempest.  It will search all of the craigslist ads within a specified distance from you.

I run anywhere from 145-165 and have done LOTS of advanced tricks on my LM.  Probably the hardest trick on a pole is a reverse grab and I did them all the time on my LM.  Plus I am 5'8" so the bulk of my body weight was pretty far from the pole.  The only thing I do not like about the LM poles is that the top adjustable section is not usable.  If you have shorter ceilings it is not an issue.

I had a left over piece of panelling that I put over the concrete floor and then ran lights around it.  The panelling was not attached to the floor in any way.  I know that the S Factor studios used to have LM poles on hardwood…I am not sure how they had theirs.  I am not really sure why LM sells that pad "for use on hardwood floors".  I think Veruca and Nymph also have theirs on hardwood without the pad.  Charley used to have a LM.  One lady that I know here in Ohio has her LM mounted OUTSIDE on concrete.  She has a veranda and the pole is in the middle of it!

The non slip pad is worthless.  Just use the little rubber feet that are on the bottom of the pole.  I had mine installed on a piece of panelling on top of concrete.  If it is adjusted and installed properly you will not have this problem.

$180 is way too high.  I paid $140 for a pink one almost 5 years ago and it was never set up.

If the pole is adjusted properly you will not have issues with it moving out on you.  I had mine for 3 years on a piece of panelling out in my garage and a year on carpeting in my house and never once had it move on me.  The little "pad" that they sell with it is useless.  As long as the 4 rubber feet are intact it is good.  (BTW, I am 5'8" and about 150 lbs)

The powder coated poles are VERY grippy…almost too much when it is warm.  I loved my mynx and would still have it today if I had not won an X.

I would think that this phrase in the irs publication would answer the question regarding spouses (or and contractor):

The extent to which services performed by the

worker are a key aspect of the regular business

of the company. If a worker provides services that

are a key aspect of your regular business activity, it

of a is more likely that you will have the right to direct and

control his or her activities. For example, if a law firm

hires an attorney, it is likely that it will present the

attorney’s work as its own and would have the right

to control or direct that work. This would indicate an

    employer-employee relationship.

I am not a breakfast eater but I will make myself a smoothie on probably 3 days out of 5.  I mix fruit, yogiurt, flax seeds and protein and then whatever else I feel like adding.  On the nights I teach I do try to get protein in my system after class, whether it be meat or a shake.

There is a lot of really good information on teh Oxygen site regarding difefrent types of proteins and supplements.  They have found recently that creatine may be better for women than men.  On a side note NEVER pay full price at GNC.

Is the pole hollow?  I did not think that where the threads are were solid so you could still use the broom handle to get that part out.

I have one protein I have been buying for the last year plus that I really like and it is cheap.  You can buy it at Walmart of all places and it is Body Fortress Whey Isolate.  Be sure to get the isolate as it has fewer calories and cholesterol.  It is abour $22 for a 2lb tub and tastes pretty decent.  I like to mix it with orange juice (it tastes like and orange julius).  They recently came out with a chocolate version of it but I have not seen it yet.

    http://www.bodyfortress.com/SUPER-ADVANCED-WHEY-ISOLATE

I have tried a LOT of proteins.  Dymatize makes a pretty decent protein as well as 4everfit (their fruit wheys are pretty tasty) and Optimum Nutrition.  I try to stick with the isolates as they flavor better and mix well, plus they pack more protein for the punch.
