Hey there, i myself am a newbie here at studioveena xD
Lovely to hear of another enthusiast such as yourself; it really is a wonderful and fun way to get in shape and stay fit. I myself only have a very basic static "polefit pole" being the cheapest of the cheap from ebay but its fine for now whilst im learning and can save for an xpole xpert tooo xD
so lucky to get one at the start…
I also cannot get lessons but i am so enjoying studioveenas lessons =)

I'm not great with advice being quite new to it all myself; only been poling for about 4months or so so far but encouragement i can do aswel as being a fellow poler, its just great to talk to people with the same interest who know what they are talking about and appreciate pole for what it is rather than just the stripper side to things =) not that thats bad, each to our own, just some people can be very judgemental towards us polers xD

ooo ooo oo one bit of advie: do make sure to exercise evenly xP i myself am having problems with major different sizes in biceps… lol.. my bad.. so yes take it easy remember to rest and if you cant feel it at the time… you will tomorrow.. hehe… stay positive and never look back =)

    Where are you from? =)

Thats exactly what you'd think….. and i have been doing tht exactly…..

i over did one arm and then spent one night on the other arm to even them out and BAM the originally smallest and my weakest arm has just exploded into a huge(to me anyway) bicep…. i have been evenly working on everything as far as i know, but perhaps not as correctly as i thought >.< aaah i must just let my body even itself out and not do to much for a while i suppose and KEEP IT EVEN xP lawl.

    Thanksyous muchly xD

Thats okay, we've all been through each stage ourselves. I'm not much more knowledgable myself. But yes omg it is totally as addictive as it seems xD – You MUST report back after your first lesson >.<
You musn't let the enjoyment fool you though and make sure you rest as i'm slowly learning myself! i'm very stuborn and never like to stop xP

I just got myself a 'Polefit pole' (static) Its a really cheap fitness pole just to tide me over till i can afford a "proper" pole >.< Its quite safe aslong as its fixed in properly. £60.00 on ebay.
I'm hoping to get a spinning pole asap really, hopefully this year. *fingers crossed*
It looks so gracefull to just spin freely =) You going for spinning or static yourself?

    =)

The lessons are GREAT! helping me out muchly ^_^
feeling right at home here – altho i am technically at home =P

How long have you all been poling? any handy tips?

I seem to have some major bicep size differences though… eeek… need to practice more equally on both sides xD Its weird cause my weak (left) arms gone huge but soft and my right arm is rock hard but practically an inch smaller!!! lol plenty of tym for it to even out though i suppose. hehe.
