oh man, have I been in your shoes before! It took me 3 months to be able to climb. I have lost 15 pounds since I started, but still have more to lose. I have been pole dancing for over a year and still at the beginner state because I am a little overweight and haven't pushed myself like I know I could have.. I am changing that as we speak.  I am doing insanity and taking my practices up a notch.

Think of it this way,  women that have a little extra cushion (like US), pole is naturally going to be harder.  We have more weight to lift.  In the end, when you are progressing think of yourself as stronger than some of the smaller girls.  Because I bet if they tacked on some extra pounds it WOULD be harder for them too.  Flipping upside down would take a lot more effort.

BUT DO NOT let the extra pounds bog you down.  I have dealt with this for MONTHS! I am over the whole notion that MY extra cushion will stop me from pole dancing.  Now, yes I am trying to get my extra weight off.Of course, I have totally changed my diet for the last month.  It is working for me and my hard work is starting to pay off.

I promise with everything in me, That is REALLY does get better! If you love pole and keep practicing, you will be surprised at what you can accomplish!

    =)

And yes, I think they are charging like 350$ to fit it on your own pole and promoting that you buy an xpole from them and then fit the sleeve…
Thank you for the link about the chinese pole. I really just wanted to know for my own knowledge 🙂
    Thanks again

I will say I do not have any further reasons other than MY OWN LIFE experiences that disagrees with legalization of MJ.

All of you ladies feel strongly on your stand points and have a lot of support to back up your arguements.

I will admit that I have my hands tied on your points and how I feel because there are so many people that CANNOT control themselves. As mentionend before, I do not blame Marijuana for this or any other drug for that matter.

With that being said, if it were ONLY a question of infrigement on our own personal rights and freedom- I say legalize the hell out of it.  And it would help get us out of some the debt.

I think if MJ becomes legal it will only be a matter of time they start to add chemicals to it like ciggarettes to maximize their profit. They already have these chemicals out to mimic the effect of THC. Mojo, spice, serenity are just some names of the synthetic marijuana. It has become a major problem, especially in my state…
My point is tobacco in its pure form is not neccessarily bad, but there are so many chemicals in a ciggarettes now… This will probably happen in the US over years if it become legal…
And then people who truely enjoy to smoke every now and then are stuck with manufactured garbage weed with chemicals in it…..

I believe ecstacy was developed to treat schizophrenic patients in its pure lab form years ago. Another good point

    Good point sensual 🙂
I wasnt trying to say you were wrong in your opinions… I just think it would come with a lot more problems than we think if all drugs were to be made legal..
But all your points make sense 🙂

I don't think ALL drugs should be legalized… I don't think methamphetamines, crack, and heroine should be easily accessable for people to buy and use… The effects of these drugs cannot be compared to the effects of MJ. And as you mentioned, OD on MJ is impossible- scientific fact.

I can understand your arguement for mj though… you are right about "too many non violent pot heads are in our jails" I think the sentencing for it should be non criminal… In my local parish, a ordinance was just passed to not punish people who are caught with anything less than a quarter… Thats pretty fair, i think. In my state it has become more of a way for local parishes to make money if you are caught with it by paying a fine…

I think marijuana has its good and bad.

For example, I think it has done wonders for patients with glaucoma.  I have not researched the topic enough to have good solid statement on it.  But from the little that I do know about it, I could see why it could be a good thing for this.

My boyfriend struggled with a marijuana addiction for many years (he is a year and 1/2 sober). For people who say that you cannot be addicted to it are DEAD WRONG!  He is a person that cannot simply enjoy it every now and then.  Hundreds of dollars was spent on it each month and everything else was put on the back burner.  Do I blame marijuana, no.  He happens to be the type of person that became really hooked on it and it does not have that same effect on everyone.

Have I ever enjoyed the positive effects from smoking it, yes absolutely.  Would I ever smoke again in my lifetime- probably.  But its not something that I go looking for and something that I am ok with to take a hit or two every now and then.  Do I judge if one of my friends smokes while I am at their house- no! Its their home and their business.

How many deaths have been recorded from LEGAL prescription drugs and alcohol? Too many to count.

Do I think legalization in America would be a good idea? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! For the same reason that PersianXcursain mentioned.

It seems that you have covered every angle possible and you both feel strongly on this issue, so there probably isn’t a way to communicate this issue to the other groomsmen.
You guys have your reasons, and if they cannot respect those reasons, it is out of your hands. The only way that I could think of lightening the mood when talking about it is to try and watch how your tone when speaking? I always hear from my mother, “its not what you say, its how you say it.”
So thats really the only way I can think of that may help- which you may have thought of it already 🙂

I can understand your views and I would be lying if I said I didnt agree- you have made some very valid points and have logical concerns. At the same time- it is going to be a one night thing, he is coming home to you. You are beautiful and he will probably be thinking about you the whole time if there and bragging about you. He will probably say- My wife is the most beautiful woman ever and can run circle around the other women in here. He probably will not be the least bit interested in them and will probably enjoy his time with the other guys.
I hope everything works out and regardless if he goes or not, you will both be together and move on with your lives the next day 😉

Ari- thank you for being open and sharing this issue. I think many other women will agree and if they dont, they can see this issue in your view point 😉

What about a pole give away? I know this is a lot, but if Veeners are willing to donate over the course of a few months maybe we can do a pole give away for someone who deserves it… Just a though 🙂
