I meant to add in there that the bit of movement in the base does not affect my pole once it is set up, but I think if its not level it could cause it to shift like u described

I have an x-pert pole andmy base moves around (like a bit of a wobble) when its tightened into place where the x marks are. Onces its up its steady, make sure u are using a level when u set ur pole up and make sure u have enogh tension when tightening it between the floor and ceiling. Also its good to check the screws where u adjust the height of the pole make sure they r aligned and tight. As far as the base getting stuck, mine does this sometimes i make sure the screws are lose then I have to pull it off really hard

absolutely love and agree with ur post flyingfirebird soo true lol, and I recently decided u know what,,I'm gonna tell my mom and older sister, my mom thought it was awesome to my surprise my sister was the more hesitant about it lol. and..if i was pregnant of course i wouldnt pole but!! id save my pole for after the baby, which makes me think she knows its fake and thats her excuse to sell it.

i just bought my xpert and i dont know what the old ones were like but the dome looks small, could be the angle.

i wanted to add to this that when i first got my tg pole i was depressed how slippery it was when i thought it was supposed to be one of the more grippy finishes, after a few days of use and a good cleaning with windex it is WAYYYYYYY more grippy now. make sure your pole is cleaned very well when you get it.
