alicestyle, that's exactly what I did! 50mm to start and then someday I might sell for a 45. I've just heard too many stories of people who tried to go up to a 50 from a 45 and couldn't do anything..
My pole comes TODAY!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif (but I won't get to go pick it up until Thursday…poo)

You make that look so easy and graceful!! Love it! 🙂

Not sure if something like this has already been done, but there should be an official guide (or sticky post) for pole maintenance! We've all spent good money for our poles and should know how to care for them properly. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Yay then we’ll both have 50s! Hehe
And that’s exactly what I tried telling myself; if instructors and other experienced polers can do all the amazing stuff they do on 50s, who’s to say we can’t too? 🙂 -
Yeah, I tried to do as much research as possible before I ordered it, but after reading these posts I worry I made a mistake in getting a 50 because it seems like everyone describes it as 45’s evil stepsister! Lol!

I just ordered a 50mm… I do have relatively small hands so a 45 probably would be easier to grip (at least with my hands, but maybe not my legs), but it’s the only size I’ve used in the studio and I’ve heard it’ll be easier to size down in the future rather than size up from a 45 to a 50. All this talk about sizes is making me worry I got the wrong size. Am I still going to be alright with a 50? Haha

Woooooot congrats!! I just ordered my first xpole last night and I can't wait for it to arrive! 🙂

I’ve also been wondering something similar. I ordered my pole from this website just last night and am wondering when/if I will receice tracking information. I did receive a confirmation email on my order though.
Perhaps I’m just a little impatient…I’m just excited!! 🙂
