For lots of support, a wonderful site is http://tummytucktalk.ning.com/

I am Anna C (TT/mr 7-22-10) on there, you have to use a member's id to get in, it is by invitation.  It used to be free, but I think there is a $10 donation now to get in.  It is very private, and there are lots of before and after pics for breast augs too. VERY GRAPHIC, if I may add, even in the surgeons office, you cannot see pics of what scars look like, etc, but on there you can see it all, even surgery videos.  It is a support network, and you can literally ask any questions to other women whom have had surgery.  Get opinions on size, over vs. under, saline vs gel.  You get the idea….   Good luck!

You can also go to your local library and borrow the titles they have, at least you may get to preview some of the DVDs before you make the investment.

I went to Joann Fabrics, they run half price one item coupons alot.  I got  huge 5 inch thick foam pieces, they come in lengths of up to like 6 feet…and you can have them cut to a shorter size so you pay for what you need.  They use an electric knife, and was easy to do.  I just covered it with a sheet. and banded on each side with a strap/velcro  think sleeping bag cord) it works wonderful and very durable too.

  • I agree with the toilet paper thing, too….as well as all the other posts…  from personal experience, it does make a difference.

Also, make sure at night, your aren't getting to hot while sleeping, and sweating a bit.  I have to really watch not using the fleece type blankets that don't breathe well.

  • Also, any TOYS u may use could be affecting this too.  You may want to go with either glass or the hard plastics kinds.  You may want him to "wash up" before, hands too, ya know..

I suffer from migraines too.   Along with EVERYTHING the others have mentioned.  PICKLES can be a trigger too.  chocolate too, lots of things really.  The food diary  mentioned above is a pain, but it can help.  I saw an allergists, and while I do have some allergies (blue cheese being one of them, there is a difference between an allergy  and just having a reaction to the foods you eat.  They are mainly classified as an allergy, intolerance, or just plain old adverse reaction.   The body is a very strange and complicated machine.  Hope you find relief soon.  Huggles to ya…

You may want to look into Rock climbing chalk.  It actually dries my hands out too much, so I can't use it.  But u can get a chalk bag for like $5, and last almost forever.  Not too much of an investment if it doesn't work out.  Good Luck!

@ VEENA…  You posted that you just put on a NEW lesson today.  Is there a way we could know when a new lesson is posted, and what it is so we could easily look for it?  Thanks,  I know it sounds lazy, but you already have so many, I would hate to accidently skip over one.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE THEM

I teach at a local studio, and YES, VEENA's lessons are WONDERFUL.  Not only do they do a very thorough breakdown of the moves, they identify which muscle groups are used.  I have also found that in teaching pole, one person can tell/show you how to do something and another person can tell/show you the exact same move, but sometimes you 'GET' what one person says, and not the other one. If that makes any sense at all.  So either stand alone, or with your local studio, I say GET the membership.  Another great thing, is when you learn a new trick, say at the studio, sometimes you forget it when you get home, with VEENA, she is ready to teach you, whenever you need her.   Wow, do I sound like a commercial or what? lol

Veena's Lessons are the bomb.  And I teach at a studio.  Veena is the next best thing to being there.  Although I do not have SFactor or Flirty girls DVD.  I do own a mirage of all the others including ALL of BeSpun and all of Jamilla Deville, and countless others I might add.  I especially like the way she breaks down the moves and highlights the muscle groups used.  Helps you alot when you are strength training to know about such things.   Well, that is my plug for the day.  Good luck, and Happy Poling!!!

I am 6 months post op… at 4 months was cleared for anything but crunches… But haven't done much of anything for fear of hurting the repair.  Doctor says core work ok, but no issolated ab work, if that makes any sense at all.

Would these be considered ab or CORE exercises???  … I am not allowed  to do ab excercises just yet, after a tummy tuck with muscle repair, but can do CORE.

They come in a huge piece that looks like a bed mattress…no way to roll it, I did double mine over to get it home in the car, and they CAN be cut to ANY length you want.  It is sold in the store only.  Hope this helps, good luck!!  They are AWESOME!  More comfortable than my mattress, lol  and take way more impact than our couch coushions.
