aww dont feel bad you def have a beautiful body! ppl on youtube have been dancing for like ever and thats prob just what the pole did for their bodies. im going thru a little something myself. i use to be a little bigger. an im finally getting to where i want to be… but all of a sudden im hearing ppl say about girls that are my body type ( oh shes too skinny, i like meat, id break her) i didnt want to be concidered too skinny bc i loe having the big hips an i dont wanna let that go lol, since they look great for bellydancing, but i notice im happy with where i am, an i shouldnt care what ppl think… bc the things i do ( belly and pole dance and yoga) will change my body.. an theres nothing i can do about it. Enjoy your body when your dancing =) youll come a long way with confidence. The girls i bellydance with, all have different body shapes. theres my teacher who is SUPER skinny… Rock hard abs…. Theres me, thin, big hips, thick in certain areas…. and there are some students that are bigger than me. I love love LOVE that alot of the dancers all have different body shapes, heights. Its very interesting to watch. If everyone looked the same it would just be boring to me. I love how everyones different…. and you are def one that i like to watch for sure =)

And i saw her do one of her sets…. i think the first move i ever saw done on the pole was from her that night. And i think she either did the gemini or the butterfly. And thats when I fell in love. it looked soooo beautiful to me. I thought to myself.. I…. want to be able to do that…I want to look like that up there… So she saw me one move at my brothers house on (i know its bad but i didnt know at the time) a PEEKABOO pole eeek… it was the side spin? not sure what it was called. then i saw my brother go upside down for fun an it pissed me off that i couldnt do it lol…pissed me off so much the very next day i went up side down =) i wanted it so bad. ever since then, i was on my own. And taught myself. from watching videos on youtube. Its weird to look back at that an where im at now… The reason I continue i think is both the same and different. I still want to look that good on the pole, but i also want to look better. Not better than HER just…. make the movement look better. More flexible, more strong, more….me… I want to be noticed for what I do one day, once i am able to bring out the dancer in me. Once i am able to bring out that emotion. I learned in the workshop i was just at that its SOOO hard to show REAL emotion. And so easy to see fake emotion. I can def fake it. But I want to feel it… I want the pole to be my dance partner. I continue bc It makes me strong, flexible,different. Makes me happy. Proud. confident. Someone ive never been in my life….even as a bellydancer. Pole made me open up more and do better with bellydance. And i cant wait to open up bellydance with pole dance =) Over all, I continue bc I see the transformation its done for me. And i dont want to stop at that. I want more =)

ok i have to post this so u can see =) i am using my friend ericha as an example.. this first video is the first video she ever made. an she thought she was the shit back then… SHE CAN NEVER EVER see her improovments. but if u see her before and after…. theres def alot of improovment…with her moves and her body…I am so proud of her =)

at first i didnt like the way i looked in anything i recorded lol. when i started. Not just bc of weight just bc… i wasnt very fluid. Or flexy. i was just…there lol… Over time i became stronger, an just looked fit (not neccesarily loosing weight) just getting more toned from the pole an flexible with it an just more connected with the pole. NOW… ill record… i can watch it all night an smile an be proud… the next day maybe watch it once with a smile. after that. i get so sick of watching my self its like…. EH! NEW VIDEO!!! lmao….an i also get sick of the song too if i ever hear it come on again hahahaa. but no matter how much u HATE your videos. especially if ur starting out. ALWAYS keep them. i only kept ONE froma long time ago. an i WISH i kept the rest they are so fun to look back at as u get better =)

Someone prob used this already… But whereever u go, outside of your home, u always wanna hop on anything that looks like a pole lmao. Even if u KNOW u cant climb it. You sure as hell wanna try LMAO!

MemberApril 4, 2012 at 7:04 am in reply to: What is your “off the pole” workout routine?I just stated as a warmup before poledancing. i do sit ups… crunches… pushups an then squat an squat jumps. an it takes me about 14 mins. then after i pole i do like a 40 mins yoga routine i made on my own =) feels great~! (when im not poling that day i do all the things i mentions plus i go to the park an do some pull ups)

I use to get into it from the floor. id wrap on leg on the pole as if i was gonna do a side climb but instead of pushing with the lower foot side climb up id bring the lower leg behind the pole. Id hold on so hard with one hand above my top leg an the other hand under my leg thats behind the pole an just keep practicing flipping into the superman that way. sorry if that sounded confussing im not good with explaining! lol. but this way i was never ever scared of falling since i was right there near the floor lol.

If that makes sence. Istead of feeling bigger and stiff, i feel flexible and strong. Balanced =) But i also try to go to the park an work on pull ups push ups squats sit ups crunches just to fasten the process.

But its not like manly muscles. its a good feeling have at it! =)

I have both aletheas and flexes. and yes u can def get the same benifets from just using veenas stretches bc her stretches really have helped me. But yes felixes is different than aletheas. I like having both.

Rainbows have a shape like a frown. And when I was younger i use to think this. That they are so beauitful and make so many ppl happy, it prob turns those frowns upside down hahaha. Was cheesy when I was younger but thats what they reminded me of.

i have been studying yoga for quite some time now. i started out with videos. which is always good to follow bc most of the time when u do it on your own we get lazy an dont wanna lay there an be still for a couple minutes to relax. ( not that u need to) but now i have picked my favorite moves out of every yoga, stretching dvd i have done even non yoga dvds like aletheas an felix's stretching dvds. and i kinda make my own routine now. There are alot of moves to choose from so its always good to do different ones here and there. it does feel great and it def makes a big difference in pole performances.. and POSTURE as well. =)

oh ok. thats great =) i am aiming for all 3. was trying to catch a ride with someone.i was trying to find someone who was gonna stay so they wouldnt have to wait for me lol. but its no biggie i can drive my self =) i just didnt wanna take the car bc my husband needs it too lol.

You know how some ppl just dont know what to do anymore? Nothing seems to interest them. Or they just cant find something to stick to ? Where they dont know what to do with their lives.? Well pole dane to me, is that life time long goal that ive been searchin for. Never ending, never quits, never boring, never the same. Its always different and you can never stop learning.

I dont think there gonna let me return them. or at least make me pay to return them. but right when i opened the box they were lighting up…so they were prob lighting up the whole freakin time thery were being shiopped. someone used them already an pulled the plastic out which it says ur not even allowed to return themif the plastic piece is missing.. =/ an well. mine was. an they didnt even give me the paper to tell me how to make them light … PROB bc … i didnt NEED it since they were already lighitng… -_- my friend told me to buy from tonys shoes form now on. supposivly they make them better. i just ordered multi colored from them we wil see =) but i want to know if pleasers is willing to send me another pair or not… if not i want a freakin refund…. my friend said she had problem with 8 pairs of their shoes within a month… shes a teacher and all her students that bought from them were falling about after wearing them 2 times.
