Thanks Venna I shall try those 🙂 I think I am strong enough to do it, actually doing it is fine, its once I take my hand off the pole I get the pain, I feel confident enough in my split grip. I have been doing the grip for about 3 weeks now, its only really been the last week my wrist has started playing up again (it used to be really bad)

I fell while learning the inverted crucifix, I managed to turn my head as I went down so I landed on my shoulder and ribs …. i had a lovely big bruise on my ribs, but I got right back on it and tried again 🙂 Thats the only fall I have had (so far)

I find the pole needs to be warm before I can climb it, if its cold there is no chance I can do it.

I went through a period about 6 months ago of having constant migraines, I would have about 4-5 a week, my doctor couldnt find a cause but suspected work related stress (I work as a carer) I was put on codeine for it, but that only took away some of the pain, but now I have switched shifts in work I have only had about 2 in the last 4 months. I do suffer from bad headaches though, have done since I was a child, again Doctors could never figure out why, I am a pain killer junkie, I always make sure i have some form of pain killers on me at all times.

Thanks guys, some good advice here I plan on taking 🙂 Yeah I can pole sit, pole hold, pole climb ….. I can do all the beginner moves, Took a while getting them right but got there in the end 🙂 Dont worry, I dont plan on attempting to spin one handed until I have enough confidence in my grip and myself, I can let go and just use one hand mid spin, I just cant start a spin using one hand. Im still coming to grips with the split grip, though I can see (and feel) the progress I have made when it comes to my upper arm strenght. Thanks again ladies 🙂

I forgot to shake my liquid chalk the other day so it had all seperated …. worked so much better than when it is shook, got a lot more grip from it, I swear by that stuff now, only need to apply it once. Although it does tend to pull on my hand and can leave me with a few blisters.

forgot to say, the liquid chalk on my hands, the vinegar on a cloth and rub it up and down the pole. x

I use liquid chalk and white distilled vingar. Works a treat!

" you're looking at every stop sign, lamp post, children's playground thinking, "I wonder if I can do a invert on that?"" I was out the other day and thats all that went trough my mind!

I dont use the extensions on my pole either, my ceiling is too low.

My hair is like that, its long and I usually wear it curly, it gets tangled a lot! I usually just run my fingers through it and take the tangles out, or sometime (when I cant be bothered) I just leave it! its quite thick and the tangles are usually underneath so its not noticealbe, then I have a fight with the comb and conditioner when I wash it 🙂

Thanks guys 🙂 I only found this site yesterday and already I love it, you are all so close and supportive. Its probably the best pole dancing site I have found. Im signing up for all the lessons come Friday (gotta wait till payday) So after that I can really get stuck into it, I cant wait.
