What workshop are you going to take? She is a really wonderful woman and I have taken several workshops from her, as she travels to Vegas often (and is going to work with Fawnia regularly now!) and has offered many different classes.

I have a student who just a few months ago had the same problem! I figured it was a fluke! EEK! I have worn Anthony's (and their sister shoes Tony's) for many years and have always been happy as well.

There are quite a few studios in the Philly area that are good. Would she be willing to head into the city? Otherwise Diamond Angels has a studio in Haddonfield NJ I believe. Not sure how close that would ne for her though…

Oh how I love Shine!! The facility is wonderful and the instructors are diverse and well respected in their industry. Can’t go wrong with classes at Shine.

Chem: Can you please chime in on why we shouldn't be using Windex or other ammonia-based products? Both on our poles but especially on our skin… I know you are much better at explaining than I.

Congratulations making it through your first competition! 🙂 Are you videotaping yourself while you dance a whole song to see where you can improve? Sometimes it's hard to give feedback if we aren't seeing your dance… 😛

Be patient pole sister! A "Dry Socket" is a potential problem that can arise. Let that little area heal properly so it is ready for the implant. I had one placed a few years back and it seemed like FOREVER before I was back to full-function. In retrospect however, my little tooth is fabulous and I don't regret the investment of time that I made for myself and my healing.

I love my Yoga Toes!! I don't have any "issues" with my feet YET (knock on wood!) and I have used these Toes for a few years now. They feel fabulous after a day of teaching with my 7" stacks on. Just gives me a nice opening stretch between my toes. I agree with chem; you can find them much cheaper than what you found. 😉

I have found Jante brand shoes runs slightly wider than Pleasers and Ellies. I also like Tony Shoes as well. Hope this helps….

I had my "bikini area" lasered almost 6 years ago. I had 5 treatments over almost 1 year and have not ever been back for any follow up becasue I bit the bullet and had electrolosis done down there after the laser series. My hubby asked me in the midst of treatments why I hated my crotch so much. LOL! I kept telling him it's becasue I adore her so much, THAT'S why I did it. I am SO very happy with my results.

It is a US based pole studio site. type in the city OR zip code and it will tell you who is in that area. It is FREE. There are several websites that will share this information with you if you subscribe. Pole Nation does not. Spread the word and spread the love of pole. <3

It seems as though "overprotective" means controlling and insecure. And since you've tried to educate him about his misconception the question then becomes: Do you really want to keep company with that type of person? There are a lot of people we have to interact with on a regular basis just to function in society. However, you do have a choice of those you bring into your personal life and especially your inner circle. Please choose wisely.
