Hi Shimamd…..I have the same size crash mat your planning on getting, I got mine from US Pole Mat….the shipping is FREE!!!  I'm 5'6 and I thought it was going to be to short, but it's not….remember if you do fall you won't fall straight flat on the mat…Now, as far as grip aids, I have them all….I bought the inner thighs, hands, arms and feet….the only one that I did use was the gloves, which I still use…..your skin will get use to the pole burns/kisses….I use iTac for every part of my body, except my hands…for that I use mighty grip or dry hands….but trust me in a couple of weeks you won't feel the pain….and remember everytime you do a new trick, you will have a new bruse. The best advise I can give you is: feel the burn and love your pole kisses!!  Good Luck and I'm glad you joined Studio Veena….you will love it here, everyone here is so helpfull and friendly!!!

Thanks Luvlee!! I only posted here once….my hubby was home sick last week, so that's why I wasn't able to post in other site….you know men…when they get sick they are worst than babies!!  well, at least my hubby is a huge cry baby when he's sick 🙂

Wow…some people are just out of control.  I have never been called fat at the studio where I go to, but I the looks I get sometimes are not nice and they say 1000 words, but I don't care, I just smile back at them.  I am on the chubby side, big hips and thighs, but being latina with 3 kids and a big family that have parties twice a week, it's hard to be a size 2….I'm proud to be 5'6, 180Lbs and a size 10-12!!!  

Now, I do have a friend that got insulted cause another girl told her that the boyshorts she was wearing looked like thong on her….thank god I wasn't there that day…luckly that girl never went back cause I was going to confront her, due to that comment, now my friend wears skorts and she was going to quit poling.

Now on the other hand…I do have to agree with Olivia, that is why I don't post any pictures or videos on FB….I've had some friends asked me if I was stripping cause I do post stuff about pole dancing, but I made it very clear that I was doing pole fitness, that I was not a stripper!!  

Sometime is best to ignore people, they can be very ignorant at times, and other are just jealous cause you can do something fun and they can't for what ever reason. 

PS: I've seen your videos and you look AWESOME!!!

I have been taking Natural Calm "raspberry lemon flavor" for 2 days twice a day and no cramps!!! I decided to drink it hot "morning & night"…..it's not easy to drink cause that tart taste does come through, but it's drinkable 🙂

Hey Lovlee…CapFeb is right, the max you can win is $100.00, so if you have 5 pair of shoes and you get picked they also pick the shoe with the most views….lets say you have 3 shoes that cost $50.00 and 1 for $100.00 and another for $60.00 and they pick your name, they see which one has the most views…if the one for $100.00 has 80 views and the rest have less than 80 views then you get $100.00. Now if you don't win then you get cool points!! and of course start all over on Monday!! When I won the first time, I only had 2 shoes and got a total of 125 views but one shoe had 93 view and I won $80.00.  

I hope this helps out…I had to read it a couple of times and my hubby did also cause I could not understand the rules at first!!!  I post on FB…Twitter…Blogger and I have my kids also post them for me on their pages.

Now that you metion Magnesium….about 3 years ago, my doctor told me that it was very low and he did send me a powder that had to be mixed with hot water….I don't know if it's was the one you mention. But thanks!! I'm going to get some tonight and I also have tonic water in my mini bar…so I will start drinking that too!!!

Wow!!! I just wanted to see what was up with this store….I'n new at pole and I know everyone on StudioVeena has had good and bad shopping experience with about all the online stores that sell poling stuff. Even when I purchased my first pole, I spent 2 weeks searching for the best price..comparing and reading blogs from other people about their purchace experience.

Now, they did get back to me about the another place that also have crash mats, but unfortunatly I had already posted this. Plus I just wanted to find out if your company was legit or not….I have found out that many companies out there sell cheap crappy stuff and expensive. Just the fact that a mat cost as much as a pole that is crazy!! So we all want to invest in something that will last us a long time and at least "me" I would have been really pist off is I placed an order and didn't get any replies back.

I do thank Chemgoddess for sharing her experience with me!!! and all the other people that have posted to this thread giving me advise….that is one of the reasons I joined StudioVeena…..because we are all in the same boat…..doing what we love and here to share/help each other!!!!
