Since I didn't have any vodka handy and couldn't bear to use our good scotch, hehehe. I grabbed my thing of everclear, put some of a rag and cleaned my pole with it and boy did that make a difference. I could really feel the grippiness after I cleaned it.

I don't watch that show personally and don't ever plan on it. I watched an episode of Anderson Cooper where it featured those moms from that show and YIKES!!! That is all I can say. Plus does anyone remember JonBenet Ramsy?
My oldest sister did these Miss Cinderella pageants with her girls and oi vey!! Which brings me to the next issue with them, the money these moms sink into doing them. I'm sure many of those moms on that show are in financial debt up to their eyeballs and will keep doing them despite maybe ending up in the poor house, or literally losing their house. My sister refinanced their house twice and have now lost it to the bank because they couldn't afford the morgtage payments just so she could take her trips with the girls to nationals in Vegas!!
Guess my opinion is a tad bit stronger than most, since I've seen what these are like on a slight first hand basis. So sorry for prattling on.

Itac 2 is made from beeswax so I would assume it'd be safe for all poles. I use Itac 2 level 4 and my pole has been powder coated. It gives you really good grip, or at least it does for me. When I was learning pole holds, I put some on my tummy and boy did I stick, so much so that tore that area up a bit.

That explains how powder coating works. Yes they will usually have a very wide range of colours to choose from. Like Sensual mentioned earlier, I had my chrome pole powder coated. Most of my gear has now come from Target for poling. I love the Champion C9 sports bras, plus they have in their bulk bins really cutie panties for $5 a pair.

I really like the C9 sports bra's from Target. I can even find them in my size and I have very large breasts (size F). Also found some very cute boyshort panties from Target too.

You should be able to go under your profile and click the edit profile button, and then type in for your state/province anything you want. My parents don't know I do it, and don't know how accepting they would be of it since they are fairly religious. My sisters know and have seen Dixie in my basement because I've had the pole since Oct of last year. When they saw her, they rolled their eyes and said oh yeah you and your "fitness poling" not thinking it was a real thing. Yet my oldest sister subsequently in talks with me, has mentioned watching the Oprah episode with Sheila Kelly. OI,lol. And from her watching that episode, she had learned it wasn't some dirty thing only done in bedrooms for "their men" or tucked away in a seedy strip club. My sister says she would like her own pole and try it, due to the fact of how happy pole dancing has made me. Maybe one day!!!

I've only been dancing since Feburary but I love it. Going from not being able to hold myself up just a short while ago, to now being able to hold myself is amazing!!! I can't wait to learn more and more moves. I love how it makes me feel, on and off the pole. I feel much more confident and stand taller now days. Hubby has always loved my body but he's really digging the new curves and shape my body has taken on since I've started.

Oh goodness I am around so much music from all the different decades it's hard to choose. Eventhough Radar Love come out in the 70's it's still a great one to dance to, hubby's band plays a nice version of the song, hehe.
