Reyn! That's a busy day! Hope you're taking a day off to recoop and let those muscles rebuild 😉

As for the boobage, my are shrinking too.. but most likely for other reasons as I just stopped taking my BC pills after being on the for 2 years.

I think it's normal for a bit of shrinking to happen. If you're working your body out frequently, you're obviously burning fat, which is what your "ladies" are made up of for the better part. 😉 I don't think they'll disappear on you though not to worry!

I feel your pain though… quite literally haha i've been doing 1+ hours of pole and 1 hour of yoga/splitz stretchng for the past three days on top of a pretty heavy chest and upper back work out yesterday afternoon. Time for a rest day?? I think so! 🙂

How is everyone else doing?? 🙂

i'm not naturally that flexy either but have noticed a HUGE difference in the two weeks that i've been doing those splits stretches!

    almost to the floor!

You'll get there 🙂 Just keep trying

    I'm in! 🙂

I started an Eat Clean plan on March 1st….but i'm RESTARTING it as of Friday haha too many slip ups!

I'm also doing 30 days of yoga for 30 mins for flexibility.. maybe i'll extend it another month and see what happens! It's definitely been helping! Almost into the splits! Yay!

It's tone up time for sure!!!

More than happy to lend some support! 🙂

    Go team!

Great story Scarlett 🙂 don’t be sorry at all! Your passion for pole really does show in your dancing.

Great thread peachpop! It’s a great way to gt to know veryone and their unique stories 🙂

Hmmm…. I’d really wanted to try poling for a long long time. Watched YouTube vids for eons but never wanted to go it alone. Girlfriend after girlfriend bailed on me after saying they’d check it out but I just kept on watching and waiting. Finally one of my gals said yes and actually followed through! Thank god cause I absolutely love it and signed on for a year membership after two weeks of class. Loved the classes but wanted to work on moves that our teachers weren’t teaching, so I bought my first pole in November followed by another pole in december. And now here I am 🙂 not a spectacular story really, but I have always loved all forms of dance. There are some days that I work on purely floorwork and transitions 🙂 pole and floor work make me feel strong and confident. And as a bonus… My boyfriend loves to watch 😉

I love to see what everyone is doing 😉  It helps me to personally shake up my routine.

    As of right now:

Monday – Intermed. Pole class + 30 mins yoga

Tuesday – 1 hour Strength Training + 30 mins yoga

Wednesday – 1 Hour Pole trvansitions class + 1 hour core flow (yoga)

Thursday – 1 hour strength training + 30 mins yoga + a whole lotta pole in the evening (This is the night that we pole jam every week)

Friday – 1 hour strength training + 30 mins yoga

Sat – 30 mins yoga + (occasionally strength and flexibility class @ studio)

    Sun – 30 mins yoga

    Hi Hotpinksugar 🙂

Having a pole at home is FANTASTIC! I take lessons 2-3x week and LOVE being able to come home and spend some quality "what do I want to work on" time on the pole.

Lessons are fantastic, but in a class setting, sometimes you aren't able to spend as much time working on a particular move as you'd like.

I've got a 50mm TG Xpert and a 50mm Chrome something or other (I seriously have no idea what type of pole it is) set up in the top floor loft of my house. It's fantastic! Not only are my friends able to come over and have some play time, but heading upstairs, switching everything else off and dancing it all out feels fantastic!

Being able to practice at your own leisure means that you're able to build strength a bit faster and work on all of your transition moves until you smooth them out 😉

Poles can be a bit spendzy, but they're a great investment if you're really dedicated to learning.
