No doubt! I also really liked how structured it is. And how they include their regular studio classes the week before and after into the package. Maybe by the time I save enough money I’ll be ready to go through their training! I also wish that there were more oportunities on the east coast for offical training. I love to teach/coach. I figure skated for 15 yrs and coached for about 4 before going off to college and I absolutely loved it!

I would love to do their training some day…but it’s quite a pretty penny!!$$$$$$

Remember doing shoulder stands as a kid?? Except now do them with your pole..I take and lie down with the pole directly above my head. Grab the pole with both hands (thumbs facing down) and do slow controled shoulder stands…raising your feet from floor level up…hold for a few secs and then slowly lower until feet are 6 in above floor. Looks like doing a shoulder mount except you are laying on the floor.
Hope this helps some! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

You should never ever ever apologize for your beliefs!!! I think it is fantastic that you made those vids! There is nothing wrong with mixing two things that you live for!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
PS. I’m catholic so booze, sex and bingo are all good to me!:)

Aliira you are so right! You can see the exact same things (scars, stretchmarks…) on someone else and it isn’t that big of a deal! I think we are all so much more critical on ourselves then we are on other people! I know from my own experience with gaining massive amt of weight with preganancy(s) and losing it how my body has changed. Yes I have a c-section scar, and loose tummy skin and deflated boobs:) but I have birthed and fed two beautiful healthy children! So worth it. Now don’t get me wrong…I want to get a "mommy makeover" done…but I could live with out it!
I have friends who think I’m corny because I have said that since I started pole dancing I am so much less critical of myself! that I had this huge revelating experience that freed me from my self doubt and criticism! it is so true though! When I see how much I’ve accomplished(physically and mentally) I’ve realized that I don’t need to be a size 0 to be sexy! I have embraced my curves and as my husband calls it my badonkadonk! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
BTW I love that site Veena!

You have lots of friends right here on SV! I know we aren’t there in "perspn" but you can always count on us! and please….we all need to bitch-n-moan every once in a while. It helps us remember that we are not the only ones who have off weeks!
I had an off practice tonight actually! I had my whole list of things that I wanted to work on and none of it happened…I couldn’t get much grip! grr! But there is always tomorrow! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

That sounds very neat! I def think you could mix the two….unless you are doing some major tricks then it might be kinda hard…try it out and make a vid for us to see! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
BTW totally like Lady D!
