Hey Cali!! Hope everything calms down soon for you! Can’t wait for you to be back in full swing!

That is fantastic!!! SM are one of my favorite things to do!!! That’s a tough one to get….great job!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I used to have the same thing…once I started major stretching (trying to get my straddle back) it went away. It may be do to the flexibilty in your hip…I’m no expert…just my opinion. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

are you doing this on spin mode??? If your on static, use your hands to twist yourself around the pole..

Ok so I think that there is some misunderstanding on here…I know for me I am confident in my body even though there are two things that I will be changing. I would not ball up and cry day in and day out if I never had it done! I am more confident now in my body then I ever have been. I don’t look in the mirror and go "gross"!! The easy way out?!?!?!? WHAT?? This has nothing to do with weight loss!!!! I don’t view plastic surgery as a means to weight loss! You mean to tell me that if your boobs were so diflated and hung so low that it caused irritation on your ribs to the point where it hurt to wear a bra and the doctor said that the only thing to help that is to get a lift….you wouldn’t??? That dosen’t sound anything like weight loss to me! As far as my belly goes….the lower skin is so stretched out that I have very little sensation in it…and I can’t tell you how many times it has gotten caught in my pants zipper!!!!! That shit hurts! I repeat..this has NOTHING to do with weight loss!!! There is no slow and easy diet and exercise that is going to help this! I agree when it comes to loosing weight, diet and exercise is definitly the right way to do it!
I’m sorry if I am coming across as bitchy or rude…but everyone is different and you can’t truly & totally know what it is like to be in someone elses shoes!

You know CBR…I actually thought about posting pictures too…

Oh yeah…and on a funny note…I was working out the other night (in a sports bra) and my oldest (5 yrs old son) says to me…."mommy, your boobies are getting to small and flat!" I about died and my husband couldn’t stop laughing!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Ok, well I know I was mentioned in this thread by Glitter…https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif and yes I am pro plastic! I have had two babies and nursed two babies(12-18mths each). With each of my pregnancies I gained and then lost 90+ pounds. My breasts went from a small 36C to a very full 38F and then back to a small 36C…now in a bra they look pretty good…but out of one…they are as flat as can be. I can almost hold a pop can underneath my breast…Now there isn’t a single person on here who can honestly tell me that will change with diet and exercise…and besides I’ve already lost the weight…YOU CAN NOT tighten loosened skin with diet and exercise!! Period! The same goes with my belly. I had a c-section with my first and there is the nice little "lip" where my scar is…my belly is flat and I have muscle definition…but once again that will not tighten the skin! I am sorry if I am coming across bitchy…but I get tired of being told that I’m wrong from people who don’t have the same genetics, who’ve never had kids and who never gained/lost a ton of weight and most importantly don’t have to deal with these issues!! You don’t know the shoes that I’m in…the irritation that is caused by loose skin…and the embarassment of having boobs that look like the belong on an 80 year old!! Now I don’t think it’s okay to have ps for every little tiny thing that people think needs fixed. I would never change anything on my face!! The two things for me are my boobs and lower belly…that’s it!! And I never said that I couldn’t live with out getting it done….I want to get it done….for me!
Okay…I’m done…just needed to get that frustration off of my chest! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I love this thread! My hubby and I had that same conversation in the beginning…but now I absolutley love it when I catch him watching me practice. It kind of forces me to add the "sexy" into my practice. I love watching him melt like puddy when I dance for him. It’s strange….he has seen me mess up on moves, look like a totall idiot but yet when I flip the "Roxy switch", it’s like he gets mesmorized (sp??). It’s like the best of both worlds…he spots me and critiques me when learning something new…but is able to enjoy the final product! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

It’s amazing how a lot of people are more supportive than what you would expect! I have kept my hobby and side job (teaching at the studio) a little hush hush. I’m in Research and Development for a chemical company so it has to be real professional…and the few people that I’ve told or that found out have been like "I wanna try that.." Even my mom…which totally shocked me…is supportive about it. Every time I get a new move and manage to get it on vid/pic, I send it to her and it’s like she is my cheerleader!
GLad you have been gettting good notes!

I personally like both and practice on both. I find that spinning is actually a lot harder than static as there are different forces at work on you. However, when learning new moves I definitly do it on static. Spinning does take some getting used to and learning to control the rate at which you spin is a little difficult. I found if I look at my pole while spinning I get dizzy like mad! It definitly is about control! Of course there are spins/moves that can only be done on one mode and not the other so I start my practice on static and then eventually switch to spin. It really is a personal preference! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
