you can moisturize your hands (on non-poling days of course) to help soften the calluses..but it comes with the territory. I don’t think that there is a pole dancer out there that dosen’t have rough man hands…lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

true grip cartwheel (still not consistent)

Sometimes I still get into a "linking" rut…but i’ve found that the more you do it..the easier and better it gets. One thing that I do is choreograph a hand full of transitions together…and then when i’m freestyling I can throw in the little choreo part when I feel a blank coming on…
It also helps to watch videos of your favorite dancers and then try to mimic their transtions/footwork…kind of like visual osmosis! lol
Sometimes when I freestyle I’ll feel myself transitioning beautifully and I’ll think "hey what did I just do?" then I can’t repeat it let alone even remember what steps I just did https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif …you really have to free your mind!

Welcome to reclaiming yourself!! That is fantastic that you are now priority numero uno!!! It’s amazing what pole dancing can do for you…not only physical but emotionally and mentally as well!! I hope you share your progress and thoughts!!
