You should make some. I’d buy em!
I’ve thought about it…seriously! I’ve made many trips to the fabric store scanning for material and ideas!

Welcome!! I lived in Charleston for quite some time (went to CofC) and even bartended at the Applebee’s in Summerville for a while!! I haven’t been back in about 6 years though. I hope you share your progress and congrats on the knee hold!

if you’re a half size (you said you’re a 7.5?) then go down to the smaller full size. so get a 7.
I agree! If you go up there will be "extra shoe" past your heel once your foot slides down…besides the shoes usualy stretch abit after being heated up from your feet.

But I do stand my ground if/when the "whore" talk starts flying…but luckily that rarely happens! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

The only way to protect yourself and your "idea" would to legally patent it! Unfortunately, patents can be very tedious and expensive (if done correctly). And I think Rubi is correct…most companies don’t appreciate "outsiders" throwing around ideas even if they are great…and I’m sure your’s is pretty cool! I’ve thrown around some ideas myself…luckily I have easy access to machine shops and chemical platers/powder coaters as I am in R&D for the chemical plating industry…but it all takes $$$! Maybe someday in the future! lol Keep us updated on your plans!!

Jenyne calls it the "scottish" https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Two things that really helped me with this was 1. not grabbing so high up on the pole with my top hand…more shoulder height and 2. really leaning out to the side when weaving the leg through.
Runnergirl365 (Sabrina) can do a phenomenol Scottish…maybe she could make a vid!?!?!?! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I am not one to condone violence however I do think it is important for our kids to stand up for themselves…fortunately I was unable to see the vid! Would she be interested in taking martial arts? It would do wonders for her self esteem and I can gaurantee that those girls would never mess with her again.
O (my son for those of you who don’t know me) is a very passive yet very strong kid…He kept getting picked on and bullied around by some kids in his class..until one day he had enough and stood up and side kicked the kid in the chest…he then proceded to sit back down, didn’t say a word! Of course the school called because it was a "physical altercation" but he did not get in trouble at home..he was standing up for himself.

I for one love country…and just about everything else…but I personally can’t dance to it. There are many songs that "move" me…just not the kind of moving needed for dancing! lol I always resort back to what I feel comfy dancing to (NIN, TOOL, seether….you get the idea)! I wouldn’t try to force it if you don’t feel it….then it will look to fake and contrived!

I am a handstand junkie…do them whenever I get a chance. I believe hand stands are the key to really getting a strong core, shoulders/arms, back and really learning where your center of gravity is. When I’m waiting for my water to boil when cooking dinner I’ll do them up against the door….do them in my bedroom, hall way, pole room of course…and living room! I would suggest getting comfortable with elbow/head stands prior to jumping the gun with handstands. If you don’t have the "commitment" to get up there and hold yourself there you are setting yourself up for disaster! elbow stands allow you to learn/feel what your body should be doing while not risking crashing down on your noggin! You should practice lifting one leg at a time and then eventually both legs together into it. Most people do not get to a point where they can "lift" both legs at a time into a handstand so you will most likely have to split one leg up at a time (as previously suggested)….
Sissy can attest to my handstand addiction! I even got my kids doing em!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
