In 2008, I was with my ex in Arizona. I jokingly spoke of buying a stripper pole and dancing for (some special occasion.. I dunno lol) and youtube'd "pole dancing" as a joke. The first thing I saw was a picture of a girl named Tara Karina, the Vertical Ballerina. I was instantly intrigued, clicked… and I was completely AMAZED. I knew I wanted to really do this. She had links for StudioVeena in her descriptions… and here I am 😀 Got my pole Dec. 2010.

My 50mm does the same thing. Usually when I take it down and set it back up, it stops for a while but right now.. it's back to it. No idea 🙁

I love my chrome pole, but I feel like I could have a grippier pole.. I was planning on getting a TG spinny for my second pole.. but now that I heard about brass, I'm soo indecisive! I don't know where to go to try a brass pole at other than Aradia and the closest one is in Las Vegas, which is about… 4 hours from me? Not something I can really drive :/

Are you sweating? Or just no grip? You could try the many products Veeners are speaking of on the forums for more grip (such as white distilled vinegar). I'm having a similar problem with my thigh rest, I used to be able to at least get up there.. now the top of my thighs have NO grip and I just slide off… 🙁
