MemberDecember 4, 2009 at 6:46 pm in reply to: Karol Helms – Workshops – Tease Fitness – MDYeeeah. I’m going to go with abingdon. Now I just… have to either fool myself into thinking I can do seven hours of workshops, or start making some difficult choices.
Well i’m totally considering taking all 4.. i know it’s crazy but hey, i’m only there for a month , So i gotta do as much as i can- don’t wanna miss any opportunities! It’s also that i definitely want to take the first one as well as the last one, so i figured i might as well do the other 2 in between, otherwise i’ll be waiting for like 5 hours for the last workshop! But i’m assuming that the first 2 won’t wear me out, since they’re floorwork & spins (assuming, lol) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
If you or anyone else decides to do the same maybe we can carpool!*edit* ps.. there’s a one hour break after the first workshop, then the next 3 are back to back (from what i saw on the site’s time schedule)
yeah theres a one hour break for lunch.. shes not providing a lunch for the students, just complimentary bottled water and cookies.. so youll have time to leave, get some lunch, and come back if you like..!

MemberDecember 4, 2009 at 9:11 am in reply to: Karol Helms – Workshops – Tease Fitness – MD….two hours to charlottesville
two hours to abingdon.hmmm
choices choices.
lol! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
editing this to say: amcut, the workshops at tease are going to be 2hrs long (excluding the flirty floorwork). The ones in charlottesvill are 1.5hrs. No pole show or event at tease, cirque de c’ville in charlottesville. I guess it depends on if youre more excited to watch the cirque show and get a workshop, or are excited strictly for the workshops.. dunno if that makes it any easier of a decision.. hehe

alot of them sent their vids as email attachments or through another site other than youtube! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I emailed anna and wendy asking them why i wasnt seeing any pro entries and hoping that everyone didnt forget! lol

MemberNovember 30, 2009 at 3:15 pm in reply to: USPDF March 2010 – Pro and Amateur NationalsKarol and I are the only two who are guaranteed a spot in New York
and that’s because you each won first place at the regionals??? I understand now.
So the online amateur division is for those who didn’t compete/win at the regionals? Can anyone who competed at the regionals and didn’t acheive pro status also apply to the online amateur division for another chance for the amateur comp in March?
yes, if a girl competed but wasnt awarded pro status, they can enter the amateur division..!

MemberNovember 30, 2009 at 3:12 pm in reply to: USPDF March 2010 – Pro and Amateur NationalsKarol…I’m confused so maybe you can answer for me.
Do I understand correctly? There were two regionals (for professional level only) and the winners are going to the finals in March to compete in the pro division.
There is an online entry for both pro and amateur (deadline 12/1) which will also send winners to the finals for both the amateur and pro division.
I’m confused how it all ties together?
The 1st place winner from each coast has a garaunteed spot in the 2010 Pro Nationals. (me and Amber) Anyone else who was awarded Pro status last year during the first nationals in march 09, and this year in either of the regional divisions will have to resubmit videos to get a spot in the Pro Division for nationals.
ANYONE can enter the amateur division. USPDF will choose 6 Amateurs to compete in Nationals, and the winner from Am Division will get pro status to compete in future pro divisions..
I dont think alot of pros got the email about having to resubmit… i havent seen any pros upload vids to resubmit for the pro division for 2010… https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif
hope that helps..!
