I actually used to take classes with Val from infinity and I like it a lot. That’s another thing to think about. If work permits I will definitely be going to the Arnold.

Thank you for all of tha advice everybody. I think the first thing I need to change is definitely my downer attitude and hopefully the rest will come. I did use the lessons a little after my first post but only for conditioning. I think you’re right Veena. I Just need to turn on some good music and see what happens

I just got a couple pairs of Under Armour pure stretch “cheeky” underwear. I haven’t poled in them yet but they look pretty cute on and are for exercise. They’re supposed to move with and be moisture wicking. They come in cute bright colors too. They were 3 for 30 at Dick’s so not too expensive.

I live in Columbus and I used to take classes at Infinity Aerial. You could check that out as well.

Kasanya I had that thought too after my last post. The x-pole sight says the 500 mm extension is for 9ft 1 in and up and my ceiling is 1 inch short of that so wouldn’t it be too tall?

Thanks so much! I measured again and it is one inch under 9 ft. I think I’ll order the extension since its only 20 bucks and while I’m waiting for that put it up without. Thanks everyone! Very helpful as always.

If you are sure they are yeast infections and not BV then I do recommend plain yogurt. I had a problem with recurring yeast infections and tried the otc treatments and a prescription from my doctor and nothing worked as good as yogurt. You could also try an acidophilus supplement to prevent them from occuring in the first place. Good Luck!

That would be fun polergirl! Thanks Chem! That would be awesome. My FB is Jacqi Edwards. I think there’s just one other one but I’m the picture with the dog.

  • Also sorry my phone keeps double posting everything.

  • I have one last question. Do you cut the tape where the connectors are?

What about the connectors? I have the regular bluish ones from Home Depot but I read you should use lasco or lasko? Idk brand connectors they’re black and bigger than the ones I have. Sorry for all my questions. I only have enough pipe left to make 1 so I want to do it right 🙂

I feel like folding it like that would warp it. Does it not? And it doesn’t separate at all? I guess if it separated you could push it back together. I kind of like the idea of the bungee cord way but I do not have a power sander at the moment.

Thanks for the links Dwiizie! If I fail my attempt at making one I will definitely look into those.

Oh great! Thanks sparrow! I am familiar! I have the piping and connectors and stuff in my basement. Do you use the figure 8 folding way or the bungee cord way? I did a little research since posting this. I still want to know your process!

Those videos were awesome!  When I first started thinking about bellydance I was nervous that I would be the biggest one in the class. (I have a VERY distorted body image) But it was very cool to see the range of  body types. Apparently all shapes are into this form of dance. I liked Mariah and she's from Ohio so that's cool. I am going to go observe a class tonight and hopefully sign up for the beginners class that starts the 30th. Its only 100 dollars for 2 months. The poling lessons around here are 99 for 1 month. Anyways. Im super excited! Thanks for the input everyone!
