You are completely normal!! The level one pole class at my studio doesn’t go off the floor at all – not even fireman spins. They start with just building up upper body strength and a spin like the catch spin. The whole point is to get you used to the pole and comfortable with it while beginning to build strength to prevent injury. Climbs aren’t introduced until level 2-3 (stress on the level three part). Keep at it and keep gaining strength! You will get there but it takes time https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I like no stamp, slanted text https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Neat design!!! I love how the "clothing" pops!

I use Dry Hands and love it! I sometimes need to apply a little more, but I tend to start with just a couple drops and add more as needed. It doesn’t leave any residue on the pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I use the X-Pole at my studio and thanks for your feedback. I know everyone raves about their X-Poles, I think my concerns are more directly related to the new pole. If I could get the regular one, I would! But sadly, there are a lot of negative comments about the new "revamped" pole.

Love love love the poster picture!!!
Out of pure curiosity, what kind of pointe shoes are those? They look gorgeous on her feet!
I want to figure out a way to combine my love of ballet with pole dancing and do a routine using my pointe shoes….but that will need to wait a little while until I get stronger on the pole.

I know I want the 50mm Chrome – that was the easy decision https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I simply asked my instructors what they recommended – so easy decision. I am just nervous about spending $350 – 400 on something that may break quickly.
