I guess if flights are cheaper we could all fly in from our local airports. I’m in the middle of country so have quite a few airports around i can get to. I’m pretty sure Liverpool is a big airport for inland flying for the girls further up the country

I would def recommend setting up a cam for yourself though, even if you don’t publish your vids. I find its really good to watch yourself back and be your own critic. So I had a look at that beach Azz and its beautiful, a summer pole beach party is an awesome idea. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif It keeps costs down as well if ure still happy us crashing it in your pole barn. (A pole barn… what I’d give for a space like that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif) As long as of course it doesn’t cost a bomb to get to you guys. So whats an average ferry/plane fee to get to that beautiful beach? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif
However if we do decide to hold it somewhere more centralish to the mainland UK we are going to have to look into costs and wotnot to hire a space and maybe rooms for people to stay over for those who live further away. Ideally there will be a few more takers to this idea along the way and other venues will come to light, and you never know places to crash aswell https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I’m quite happy to let a few girlies on my living room floor.

i need help with this move O_O maybe I’m not strong enough? I do my invert, and it seems like my leg wont bend over the pole. Also I’m holding onto the pole for dear life with my hands! Very rarely it feels like my legs gripping at all. I look at the picture in my profile and I’m trying to figure out what to do

Hey I had a look at your picture rubberstartlet, you need to get your hips closer to the pole like the others said, I find this means really engaging my core muscles to pull me up, then hook your leg over the pole. Because you are close to the pole then, I kinda arch my back and cross my arms behind my back thus the armpit grip people are saying. also if i try to look at the opposite wall i find i stick better, cos i’m forcing myself to arch my back which tightens my armpit grip.
I’ve just started using the gemini in my videos as I’m now comfortable with it. But it took me ages and I had such pole burn the first few times i really perfected it.

How would you feel about a trade. I have the standered 50mm xpole almost new. Was a bad choice and really wish I’d gone for 45. I am based in N’hants.

Hey VixxPlum,
I was just reading this thread and what you sed about it being a mental thing I really relate to. I found with all the moves requiring me to go upside down if i shifted the weight from my feet to my head mentally I flipped over a lot easier. I mean actually think the weight is in your head, i always envision one of those cartoon ton weight thingeys lol.
This has really helped me with the cradle especially. I dunno if this makes sense or not but just my two pennys worth.
