How about lotion? Like pole physic? It works great for me on the day that sticky.

I have tried both and I own xpole brass myself. for beginner to intermediate level I was in love with the pole that slightly slick (like chrome) cause u spin on the pole a lot. but now I'm in advance level and I work easier with sticker pole like brass. (TG is def sticker than chrome but still not that sticky, the brass even thou its sticky but its not to the point that you can't spin on it) the xpole brass is coated yet the coating will be lasting for 10 20 years. its not coming off that easily if you worry about that.
If your body is always warm it kinda help the grip i think. but my body gets cold easily so I need grippy pole like brass 🙂 The TG not enough for me. all these just personal experience.

@sensualscimitar thank you. I was actually looking at ur pole befor I got my xpole brass when u mentioned that it was on sale. but there were no 45mm left. It would have been better to get a real brass pole.
@sadienikole yes it has to be the same size. But maybe you can talk to Heidi and ask how much the replacement for the base part cost. I think it's gonna still cheaper than buying the new pole set. and also you would lose money selling ur chrome as a used pole.
@hookedonpole you would lose money selling ur chrome as a used pole so you should totally do it. Maybe even try brass you might like it even more like me 🙂 just remember if you dont like it u can always return or exchange.

@Lyme Lyte, I sanded around the pole too. not up and down. now my pole looking so ugly lol. it is not shiny anymore. The feeling when I grip the pole is different but still not helping the grip much. please let me know how ur pole treating you 🙂 i'm excited to hear.
@sensualscimitar, I ask the studio about the poles. she's not sure but she thinks its the same material as chrome xpole. and I offered her to buy one of them and she just laughed. She thought i was joking but i was really not lol. I think I'm going to try TG and decide whether I should invest my money on it.
@Veena, your concern is right on. Like everybody said I think I don't put enough time to warm up my body and my pole. first I'm a bit of a lazy. hahaha. secondly, my place is really really tight. I have to move my coffee table in order to set up the pole in the living room. So I can't really do much dancing and spinning around the pole at all because I could break something. That's why Im just thinking to get some of the pole thats grippy and good for doing trick and climb on. It doesn't need much room and also there's nothing for me to break in the air lol.
So today I'll drive up to the xpole office (which is 10 mins drive from my home) and try the titanium gold. I'll let anyone know how it goes. wish me luck. I'm gonna need it 😀

hi chemgoddess1. thx for the reply. I'm so jealous that chrome works well with you. everytime i try to show off my friends with my xpole i slide right off. so embarrassing lol.
yes I've been taking pole class too twice a week. I have no problem with all the chrome color poles at my studio. i love them. but i dont know whats wrong with my xpole at home it is so so slick. I even sanded it but still not helping.
i'm in an advance class and only have less than 10 moves in veena's advance lesson left to nail. so i dont think the problem is my strength or experience. I live in LA by the way. i dont know if that matter. Somebody help!! lol
